Best Plumbing Services in Detroit, MI
Had to find a plumber who could clean out our line due to a weird backup over the weekend and Rose Sewer Cleaning had the best price and availability around.
The owner, Mark Rose, came out quickly with his equipment shortly after a Saturday morning call. He was really fair, went above and beyond to show that everything was working properly, answered all of my novice questions, and did it for a *way* better price than any of the big places around here.
I highly recommend him in case you need plumbing services. Great guy!

It was easy to make an appointment and Bob arrived on time. He was very neat and friendly. The repair was explained thoroughly and performed at the quoted price. Will definitely use in future!

Spoke to Roy from Jett It on the phone to make an appointment for later in the week. He arrived on time and was very cooperative when I asked him if he can give me a call prior to arriving and also to wear a mask and boot covers before entering the house. He let me stay and watch everything that he was doing. This includes explaining all the steps. I found him to be friendly and he kept the customers informed with his work.
He had the right equipment compared to others plumbers who I spoke to over the phone. His tool chest included a camera to look at the drain where it was clogged. He even showed me on the camera where and what was stuck. Other plumbers either refuse to give me a quote over the call or straight out told me that they need to cut the p-trap because I already told them it has a plastic eggshell toy stuck there since someone already tried to snake it but failed. I preferred Roy's approach which he will try to hook it with his snake and extract it since he has a camera. Other plumber's more costly and invasive plan was to cut the drywall to replace the P-trap.
In the end, the slow tub drain was fixed! Roy was able to push the stuck plastic toy into the larger drain pipe to be flushed away, but he wasn't able to extract the snake bites that's still stuck there in the p-trap bent. He explained in details why it is not possible to pull out the bites without cutting the P-trap. However, he said that the bites are not going to be in the way to normal tub drainage for at least 5-10yrs. Overall, the tub drain works like new now and you can hear the sound of water rushing down a open pipe like when it was new from 4 years ago. Roy gave me a discount off his estimate since he couldn't remove the snake bites that's still stuck.
After finished snaking the drain, Roy cleaned the tub a little bit with his newly acquired Zep All Purpose Cleaner which is good stuff. He even volunteered to install a new shower head which he didn't charge me.
I find Roy from Jett It is honest and trustworthy and I would hire him again.

It's hard to get excited about a plumber, but I really have come to rely on Putzig's. Over the past 14 years I have had much work done by Putzig's and I have never had a bad experience. They show up on time and ready to work, the worker's are knowledgeable and honest. (They charge a 1 hour minimum fee and once I had something that took less than three minutes to fix. So the tech inspected all my faucets, toilets, drains, and anything else he could think of. He ended up fixing about 6 other minor things, most of which didn't require parts (so it's not like he was upsizing me). These people do great work and can be trusted to give you good advice. I have only had one case where a problem came back after a repair and they came out and fixed it for free.

I had an plumbing emergency on Saturday morning at 1:00a.m.. Of course these things never happen during normal business hours. Anyway I'm in a 1 bath condo and not only my toilet but my tub had both backed up and were totally inoperable. I waited until 9:00a.m. and started calling plumbing companies. Some companies I contacted I received their voicemail and others, at least 9, said they could not come out until Monday or Tuesday at the earliest. Mr. Jenkins of Tri County was ringing my door bell around noon. I was never so glad to see a plumber. He had received my voicemail and stopped by my condo on his way to another job. He quickly ascertained what the problem was and quickly and efficiently got things flowing smoothly again. Tri County's prices were good and he did not try to up charge or sell us on things we did not need. Mr Jenkins is very professional and thoroughly explained all of our plumbing concerns. We were so pleased with his work that we had him return to do additional plumbing work. I will never call another plumber before Tri County. Thank you so much Mr. Jenkins for answering our cry for help.

After recent rains our basement flooded and the water did not recede. I called Gamble Plumbing and they were a bit rude on the phone but could come out that day. The plumber came out and looked at the situation, he thought that the 10 ft long sections of the drain snake wouldn't work in my tiny, overcrowded half basement so he needed different equipment and he left. Another one of their plumbers called me and said they would have the equipment and be at my house in the morning. At 11:30 I called their main office and they said they would contact the plumber and get right back to me. They never called back. This treatment was bad enough BUT the first plumber who came out opened the access to our stack and didn't put it back on so when I flushed the toilet the sewage did overflow into my basement, before that it was all rain water. Luckily I had managed to pump all the water out so only a small area of the basement was affected. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Had a great experience when I called Al's plumbing, I had a toilet that would not stop running in the house I was living in just outside of the city. I spoke with the owner of the company who was very friendly and took the time to hear the problem I was having. He personally came out that afternoon to take care of my toilet. The service was better than expected and the repair and service call price was very fair. I highly recommend Al's Plumbing & heating co for any plumbing needs. Friendly and reliable.

I have been trying to get my refund of $40 from this company since August or 2014. He didn't order the part nor refunded my money. I've complained to BBB about this company. I'm trying to find other avenues. I'm a senior and don't have money to throw away. Maybe Michael needs the money. If so, God bless you. God has blessed me because he sent someone to me and he fixed without this nonsense about ordering a part at no charge. God is good. Hope to get my money from you.

Had a pinhole leak in a copper pipe above the furnace. It was on a Saturday during the Easter weekend. Called around on Good Friday trying to get a plumber who could come out the next day. I had to turn the water off as the leak was dripping into the furnace and knocked my furnace out. Couldn't get a commitment so called Plum Tech at 8:00 am on Saturday. Wouldn't quote me their rates (should have been my red flag) instead saying they would quote a price when they arrived. Said they would be about noon. At 1:00 I get a call telling me there by 3:00. At 4:00 pm he arrives, takes a quick look and tells me $400. Needed water back on for the family and since it was so late in the day I consented. Repair time was no more than 20 minutes! Job was done. Leak repaired, but $400 for 20 minute repair seems outrageous. I took their magnetic card and stuck it on my fridge so the next time I need a plumber I'll remember who not to call.

I requested their service throw yelp m, the company answered fast and sent a employee, 20 minutes after my call. The plumber failed to solve or diagnose the problem and took their $200 flat rate fees.

my plumbing was clogged up with grease from tenant I was told 150 it didn't go out to complete the cleaning of the main drain due to he only had 40 foot snak I informed Greg that he needed 100 feet instead of that his worker used his hand and said I owed 75 more dollars for the job I paid it but was left with the clean up process I was told he would return to clean up but no one ever showed up I'm reporting this business to the better business bureau as well to take advantage of a black woman as a black man is horrible it black on black mistreatment in business is just as bad as black on black crime so you might as well work with the white companies an g the job done right without additional fee due to lack of equipment to do the job. Ne careful LADIES WATCH THESE TWO SCANDALOUS FELLAS LOOKING LIKE MEN IN BUSINESS BUT THEY ARE CRIMINALS GETTING OVER ON PEOPL. including brick and concrete work DIDNT come back an finish that job removing wood but was paid for both jobs so don't pay until the job an problem is corrected even if he say it's just going out slow call me if it doesn't I'm come back
