I called Paul D Plumber at 4 pm on a Thursday regarding my clogged sink and he had someone at my house at 7:30 a.m. the next day. Robert was professional, courteous and fixed the clogged sink, kitchen faucet and adjusted the ball cock in the toilets in 90 mins. I found the charge reasonable for the work done and the time it took to do it. I will be calling them again soon to replace a leaky bathroom faucet. I was pleased with the work and value.

The drain in the bathroom was completely blocked, but the block was not close to the drain. The water could run for approximately a minute before It backed up which meant the clog was way down the line. I called Magee  plumbing and spoke to Marcus. He was just finishing another job and was at my house within 30 minutes. He was completely professional and got straight to work. He made sure to keep his work area clean and worked diligently to clear a very difficult clog. He used a 75 foot rotor rooter but the drain was still blocked. He didn't give up and used a different blade attachment on the Roto rooter and was finally able to clear the drain. After he cleaned up his work area And put his tools away, I asked if he had  jumper cables because the battery in my car had died. He told me that he had the same problem earlier that day and had a jumper box with him. He then realized that he changed vehicles and did not have it with him. He told me he had another job and would be coming back my way. He returned in a few minutes and helped me jumpstart my car. I can't say enough about his generosity. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who needs high quality plumbing work. After all the difficulties of this job his fee was much less than I was quoted from The national Rotor Rooter service company. Thanks again for going above and beyond! And doing such a great job! I've struggled with what to write in this review all year. I found them very easy to deal with (friendly, polite, etc) and their rates were good, but it took a LONG time for the job to be finished.  Read on for the specifics...

These plumbers were hired as a subcontractor for a renovation that I did on my house last year. They were specifically hired to attend to the plumbing bits in the bathroom renovation and to install a gas on-demand water heater.

First. The unit was installed on the wrong spot on the house. We had selected a spot where it would be the most out of the way, just to the right of a window at the back of the house. It was installed to the left. Not really a big deal, but annoying.

Second. A year ago, I was showing a friend the renos and she asked where the thermostat for the water heater was as she has an on-demand system too. We couldn't find it. When I called, the plumbers were oh right. We need to get back out there and finish that. Except all renovations were supposed to be complete, so I had to let them in instead of the general contractor.

Third. When they came to install the thermostat, I pointed out that the flexible pipe that fed the water heater were lying in the dirt under the house, rather than strapped as they should have been.

Fourth. The water heater wouldn't heat on a somewhat consistent basis. I discovered I couldn't have hot water AND run the gas dryer. And sometimes there didn't seem to be a reason. Turn on the hot water; nope, runs cold; check the thermostat & it's beeping an error at me; shut the whole thing off; try again in 5 minutes; and it's all good. INFURIATING. After calling the plumbers and then getting some outside advice, it was discovered that short run of 1/2 inch pipe was left in the run to the water heater which demands a minimum of 3/4 inch pipe. Call and complain. Then I got busy with OTHER renovations.

Fifth. Discover months later that the pipe was never changed out. Bug them until it happens.

So 10 months after the job later, the job is finished. Everyone is very pleasant, but I shouldn't have to hound a contractor for a year to get a job done.

I called the day before I needed them to come and it was not a problem.  They came right or the next day.  They fixed my running toilet and were very thorough when checking to make sure that was the problem that was causing my water bill to go up.  Fast and efficient and inexpensive.  I will use them again on the future.

They were absolutely wonderful! On Christmas Eve our pipes froze and busted. There were out to help with the situation in no time and fixed the problem. They are reliable and do stuff correctly. Highly recommend!

I used them to renovate a home damaged by Katrina.  They cut corners, skipped steps and basically delivered an inferior product.  I have been repairing their work ever since the construction was finished.  They haven't been willing to help repair the work and have stopped answering my phone calls.

I called their number 16 times throughout the day attempting to reach someone.
The voicemail leaves a number for emergencies, but it wasn't what I considered an emergency so I obviously didn't want to call that number.
I left multiple voicemails and someone called me around noon the next day and I told him that I called so many times that I had given up and called someone else and the man said You called ME sixteen times? I said Yes? He said You must've called the office sixteen times, I'm not there all day so it wasn't me.
Really? Why even have an office where you have no one to answer calls? Either get an answering service to relay messages to you, get a receptionist, or get the calls to the phone you keep on you.
Actually at the very least, take a half hour at the end of each day and make a stop into the office to return calls.
How else are you expected to have any business at all?
No one wants to wait a day to hear back, they're just going to move on to another business.
I ended up calling Bill Schells Electric and they have a very nice receptionist who worked with me and set me up with an appointment in the same phone call.

My realtor called this company for an extremely minor repair to the bath tub faucet.  The repair was a tiny plastic part that took 20 minutes to install.  We received a bill that simply said $302.  No idea of hourly rate, cost of plastic part or how it could have possibly come to $302.  We asked for clarification and were told they charger $160 per hour.  Even though the repair took 20 minutes, they apparently charged us for their travel to hour home? No idea as they refused to respond to our request for information.
