We engaged Rise Above to remodel our master and guest bathrooms. We solicited several bids. We selected Rise Above because we were impressed with the honesty and integrity of Bret, Skyler, and their team. Bret was very helpful in suggesting a variety of design options. He patiently worked with us through many iterations until we settled on a design and price that was suitable for us. All things considered, the project was executed well--on time, within budget, and meeting our expectations on design and visual appeal. Bret, Skyler, and their team were very professional and responsive. Follow-up items on the punch list were handled expertly by Skyler. Based on my experience, I recommend Rise Above Remodeling without any hesitation.

We had a flood at our rental. The complete destruction of our dining room happened. Red Eye Construction came in and did a beautiful job with the put back and with quality materials, and in a very timely manner. They worked so well with our tenant who is having a very rough time in his personal life right now. I highly recommend this company you will not regret this choice in hiring Red Eye Construction to do any remodeling you may need.

Have known the owner for a while, but this was the first time I've actually used his business for handyman services.  The project was a dishwasher installation (remove old, install new).  It was completed without a hitch!  Eddie was on time, did an excellent job, verified everything was OK, and cleaned up afterward.

MK Remodeling and Design worked with us to remodel our master bathroom, create a library (complete with a murphy door), and remove a built in entertainment center from our living room to open that space up. From start to finish, they were incredible to work with. Christy, James, and Mike were all responsive to communications.

Once work began, they really focused on our project, and they were always here on time. The entire team, and all the contractors they hired, were on point. Our neighbors asked us how we had people showing up every morning like that to work on our house. We just told them to "hire Mike!"

My husband and I are beyond happy with the results. Each room is beautiful. Christy was amazing to work with as a designer. She took my general ideas and really transformed them into gorgeous spaces in our home. These folks are absolutely worth the time and money to use. No complications. Exactly what we wanted. We will definitely call them again if we want to redo anything else.

We had new AC Installed and the they did a little damage so they had Rodriguez Remodeling contracted out to do the repairs. They were very good at communicating and scheduling. They did a great job. Very clean and courteous. We liked them so much we asked for their card to get a bid on a future remodeling project.

I worked with Q and used him repeatedly on a number of projects. Very dependable and great construction services. Always shows up when promised and finishes on time. Great service and reasonable pricing. Highly recommend!

I needed a new contractor to do some renovations on our new home so we turned to Yelp and and found shepherd contracting. We used Thomas and his team when my new home needed some updating. The communication was above and beyond. We love our new bathrooms and will post updated photos soon!

Eric is a very hardworking and conscientious. I recommend his company for renovations and various other handyman work.

We hired RH Design and Build to build out our office inside of our garage. They did a phenomenal job. We couldn't be happier with the results. The communication was awesome and the pricing was under a few other bids that I had requested. We plan on using them again for a larger project down the line.

This company is absolutely amazing! The designers, dean, and the entire crew are professional and all around great to work with.  Our kitchen and two bathrooms were completely remodeled and not only did the results look amazing but it was done 4 weeks early...yes early! The whole process went so smooth. The app they use was really helpful for seeing the calendar, making payments, and sending messages. The crew worked so hard everyday and kept the area clean when they left. I would recommend Kitchen By Good Guys to everyone you wants to do a remodel, they are the best!

White Builder - Ellen and her team are fantastic! The team that they have are professional, talented, and really care about your project. Our kitchen remodel was a challenge, but they met it head on and worked their magic- it's beautiful. They take pride in the work they do and it shows. Highly recommend them and we'll be using them again in the future - amazing!

Dion and his team did an excellent job tearing down my old deck and building a new one.  I was impressed by the professionalism and skill of Dion and his team.  The new deck is beautiful!  I would highly recommend D&D construction!

My wife and I hired Mike to remodel our kitchen. HUGE mistake. He quoted us 6 weeks to complete the work and told us anything we wanted to hear during the design phase to get us to sign with him and give him the large down payment. Fast forward to 16 weeks later and the job still wasn't complete. Not only that, but some of the work that was done was done incorrectly and not matching or not working correctly. They refused to fix the work and complete other areas of the work and so I was left with an incomplete job that took almost 3 times as long as it should have.

Unprofessional, and nightmarish to deal with. Here's exactly what transpired:

I work 50 hours a week. I made an appointment with "I'm Gonna Fix It" through Amazon between the hours of 2PM-5PM on Sunday, my only day off this month. When 3 o'clock rolled around on Sunday and I had not heard from the company, I called and left a message. At 4 o'clock I sent again inquiring if the appointment was still good to go. Close to 5 o'clock I receive a message from Kyle (the owner) stating that he would have to reschedule do to "personal issues". So, at this point I've planned my families day around this thing and have wasted my only day to be with them. In my industry, this is called "No-Call-No-Show".

I immediately texted him back (I will post a screen shot of the conversation if Yelp will let me) informing him that this was unacceptable and that I do not have another available day all month to reschedule.

I was then rudely texted back "Life Happens" and then he went on to explain how there was "a death in the family".

Now.... I am not a psychic so I do not know if these excuses are true or not. What I do know is this:

A) If you look at other reviews for this company, you will find similar experiences of unprofessionalism, excuses, and tardiness.
B) We were all young once and (speaking for myself) I made these type of excuses to my professors in high school.
C) If there really was a problem, I should have been personally contacted as soon as they found out they were unable to make it (Apparently even though the "Personal Issues" began on Friday, they were unable to contact me until AFTER the appointment was through on Sunday). The guy claims he contacted Amazon to cancel but that is totally untrue; amazon would have contacted me immediately.

In conclusion, the experience I had with this company was so poor I canceled their services altogether. I am not someone with unrealistic expectations... I am understanding that things do happen but with that being said I was not contacted until after the three hour time window had passed and my time had been blatantly wasted, not to mention insulted by the owner.

Buyer beware!

Doug and Bill did an amazing job repairing my balcony. There was more water damage and rot than we even anticipated once the rails were lifted. They came up with the plan how to efficiently and thoroughly resolve the problem. There were no cutting corners, I loved that the job was done right, the materials used were great quality and it was all completed in a little over a day. I am so grateful for their help!

I spent hours on the computer looking for a company that I could trust and understood my style,  found Spicegirl Remodeling.  I do not live in the country at this time but that did not cause a problem.  I was updated with pictures every week.   I am very pleased with my master bathroom remodel and will ask Spicegirls again if I have another project.
