Best General Contractors in United States

Almost a year into a flood restoration project and still not completed. Take my advice and stay far away from this company! They tell you what you want to hear and then don't deliver. They never applied for a construction permit and when caught (because they kept leaving front door unlocked and it blew open) took at least six weeks to get a permit. Their latest stunt is their revised timeline is now two to three weeks late, after I booked a flight with their promise all would be ready for us to settle back in. Very unprofessional company!

This place is absolutely amazing. I had a terrible experience with Lowe's and Home Depot when looking to renovate my kitchen. I did some shopping around at other local countertop places but Veny was simply the best. Veny helped us out the entire way and was there for EVERY STEP of the process, sharing his expertise but never pressuring a sale. He shows up on the job site to make sure things are running smoothly and his employees are top notch people. We even asked if he could install a backsplash and new flooring for our kitchen as well even though we had already bought the materials and he graciously agreed. If you're looking for ANY COUNTERTOP or home remodeling needs, do yourself a favor and come here FIRST, these guys are the Real Deal.

Bryce at HBO Construction was great! He was responsive, on time, and did great work on our bathroom shower.

After several estimates, we knew Bryce was the guy for the job. He was fair and knowledgeable without giving us a crazy dollar amount to do the job.

10/10 will be recommending him to our friends and family!

Harper Stone and Tile is the most amazing company. Perfect craftsmanship, very communicative, and Derren (the owner) is so detail oriented. Please see the pictures of our new guest shower. Everything lines up beautifully and looks phenomenal. Please notice the detail in the pattern, all grout lines are lined up flawlessly. The experience was outstanding. Derren and his team took great care to work in a very clean manner and even provided a paper cover to and from the bathroom so nothing dirty ever came in contact with our floors. I would highly recommend Harper Stone and Tile. I can't wait to do our master bathroom with Harper Stone and Tile in the future.

We had a roof leak into a very small space behind our water heater. There was small water damage and a bit of mold. Other companies quoted us $1700-2700 because they wanted to remove the water heater. Elias was able to do it for a third of the price without removing the water heater! He was a great contractor to work with- let me know when he was on the way and was very understanding of our wanting to keep costs down. He did a great repair job and we plan to ask him to help us with other projects in the house. Thanks Elias!

Tony his team literally saved me from a nightmare.  I hired someone who was getting their company up and going to make my brick wall higher in my backyard.  It was originally only 5ft tall and everyone could see in my backyard. This new company completely botched the wall and was not unstained it correctly.  I had to fire them on the spot but they've already created such a mess.  I contacted Tony to come check out the horrible job to see if he could provide me a estimate. He came out the next day and let me know what all needed to be done to correct the issue and finish the job.  The estimate was a fairly priced for the work ahead.  I agreed and he came back the next day with his team.  They had my wall done within hours which included reinforcing and correcting the problem from the first company.  He was super professional,  cleaned up their mess ALONG with the previous company mess  and the communication was great. I have known Keith for years...found them on a site years back and asked if they could help my old boss paint some rooms in our office.  They did great!  Later, I hired them to paint some rooms in my home and install a super cool rock mailbox as my old one was falling apart.  They also painted my old bosses exterior of his home, did lots of electrical, installed some pigeon proof material, and he was super happy with them.  The company is super fast at communicating, estimates, and just  all around great people.  Ask for Keith...he will help get any/all projects taken care of. Amazing company folks...don't look anywhere else!!!

We have used PHX Floors & More (Victor and Mario) for two home renovations. My in-laws have also used them for their current house and for their old house that they sold for over ask. My parents are using them now for their house. They are great guys, very accommodating, respectful and timely. We recently used them again for a pocket door install and the gentleman who put it in was so kind and professional.

Manny was awesome to work with.  He helped me fixed a nasty leak on my roof and did full drywall work on my Garage ceiling.  VERY FAIR Prices and super honest kinda guy.  Hit him up!

I highly recommend Jacquie for all things remodeling and interior design. Exterior design too! I first enlisted her help when I was considering a major remodel. I wanted to combine 3 rooms into one large open space as a kitchen and dining area.

​Using an online 3D rendering tool, Jacquie modeled ideas for the layout and decor of the space. Seeing what it could look like, to scale, was absolutely necessary for me to make the decision to go for it.

​She worked tirelessly with me for months, advising me on every aspect of this project from selecting a GC to selecting flooring, paint, architectural tile, window placement, exterior changes related to window changes, granite, you name it she helped me with it! Making such large purchases would have been more stressful than fun, but with her expert guidance and the education she freely gave me along the way, I knew I would love the end result. That peace of mind was priceless.

She was also a joy to work with. Her positive energy was contagious, and her level-headed management was reassuring. She ever mindful of my budget and has the experience to know where spending more really matters and where it does not.

​One last thing that might surprise you! 90% of the time we spent together was done over video calls and text! Jacquie flew in during the final stage of work to work with the GC on final touches and to make sure everything was as it should be. Virtual consulting is wonderfully convenient and efficient!

We needed an oven installed and Tatum was beyond superior. I was timid to request this service, seeing that they do new construction. But I took the chance and asked. They were more than happy to help us. I HIGHLY recommend!!! Thank you so much!!!!!

Worker's were not on time and didn't even speak English! They looked at me like I was in a foreign country!

I contacted Red Ram about some major exterior remodeling work I'm having done. It includes building a large attached patio cover, re-siding my house, and installing a new roof.

Daniel came out to see the project space. He mentioned some alternative siding options I hadn't considered. I appreciated this because I believe the contractor is the materials expert, can make good recommendations, and it's important to me to find someone experienced in using/installing the products I ultimately decide to go with. He left me with a very positive impression. He said it would take a week or so to get me an estimate for the work and some estimates for the different siding options so I can make an informed cost/value determination on which product to go with.

It's been 3 weeks now and I haven't heard anything from Daniel or Red Ram. I tried calling to follow up but there was no answer and no call-back response to my voicemail. I understand this ultimately means he probably doesn't want my business but ghosting is inherently rude and ultimately unprofessional. A simple message saying this isn't a project we want to take on would be sufficient. This seems to be a common issue in the contracting world. To each her/his own, but based on my experience, I feel this company lacks integrity.
