When I need a light fixture (and I still need at least five more), I will be only going to one location, which is Luxe Lighting in Greenwood. Why? Because, they have light fixtures that I enjoy, as works of art, and it's unique enough. Over the course of five months, I've been to every single home improvement warehouse in Puget Sound, various independent light fixture shops, and I still cannot find a fixture that I like. Anyone who knows me in person will know that I'm very meticulous when it comes to shopping for anything, and it's always an arduous process.
Upon entering this venue, it's brightly light with all of the lighting indoors, but it does take advantage of the daylight to help light up the area. It's inviting and draws me in, also, the furniture pieces are also complimentary to the various lighting styles in the building, and is also a functional work space.
In any regard, I was greeted by Bridget, who assisted me throughout the entire process. After knowing that I like contemporary modern styles, and looking at a couple fixtures in the store, that I sort of liked, but not immediately drawn towards. Then it's off to the catalogs of the various contemporary styles that the store can customize, and immediately, I was drawn to simple and elegant fixtures made by Hubbardton Forge, handmade out of recycled iron and glass out of Vermont.
With my entry way light, I only wanted a light that is strictly functional and served for navigation reason only, Bridget countered my thought process of offering other reasons, such as serving as an art piece, serving as a greeting piece, but also predominate enough to serve my needs. Her reasoning outweighed mine, and now I have a bright light in my entry way serving my needs, but it is also complimentary towards my objectives.
Also a plus was Bridget's willingness to communicate over email, and it was an easy way for me to send her detailed PDFs containing measurements and schematics of the rooms for my light fixtures, and to let her see my point of view.
All-in-all, working with Bridget and Luxe Lighting has been a pleasure, and I am enjoying my new light fixtures. I look forward to purchasing additional fixtures as I continue my remodeling project.

Greg coordinated with PSE to repair our weatherhead. He explained any complications and how PSE needed to be involved, then he scheduled his visit with PSE and made it happen. I would work with Bel-Red Electric again any day.

Elmecco's fees are extremely high and they charged $300 project manager fee! They charged over $1000 for a problem of flickering lights in my Seattle condo. The electrician did not fix the problem at the 1st visit. He came back to fix it. They charged both visits ($330 each). PLUS $300 for project manager fee!
Below are their charges:
First visit June 1st:
Service call for flickering lights in unit - there was a half hour of travel time to the job, 2.5 hrs onsite opening light switches/outlets/light fixtures trying to diagnose the problem. Including travel time there was a total of 3 hours for June 1st.
3 hrs @ Journeyman Rate of $110 = $330
Second visit June 12th:
3 hrs @ journeyman rate $110 = $330
$300 - Project Manager 2 hours@ $150/hr
(The Project manager determines manpower required for scope of job; schedules the job; assists with troubleshooting issues; oversees billing)
$ 25 - Admin Fee 15 minutes @$100/hr (Administration handles intake call and invoice prep and processing)
$985 Total labor cost
$99.49 Sales Tax
$1084.49 Total

I had a great experience with Energy Flow Electric. They responded very quickly to my request for quote and made an appointment to visit and give me an estimate. The electrician was very knowledgeable and very helpful. They installed recessed lights in 4 bedrooms (Over 20 cans total). They also assembled and installed 2 vanity lights in bathroom. I was impressed by their quality of service and they did a nice job cleaning up afterwards. I would hire them again in a heartbeat, thanks to their professionalism and ease of service. Fair price and great service.

The weather cap on our service mast (where electricity line comes into the house) had blown off.
Too tricky to get on the roof and put it back on. Plus, rainy weather was approaching and we didn't want water to come into the roof/attic through the open and exposed service mast. Finally, a nuisance job: too small to be a big paying priority for most businesses.
Everyone is super busy these days.
C&R fit me in in one day!!! Came out. Put it back on.
Very responsive. Very fair. Good quality service.

Mo was responsive and quick to schedule (next day) for trouble-shooting our issue. He came the next day and replaced a breaker. Now everything is good again. I would call Mo in a heartbeat if I need electricity help in the future. Highly recommended.

Chris and Cameron did an awesome job rewiring our house and converting it from old knob and tube. They were professional and efficient, and didn't leave any stone unturned. The bid was fair and competitive compared to other bids we received. We lived in the house over the course of the days they did the work, and they left us with power at night, minimized the mess, made sure not to let our cats out, and kept in good communication with updates and decision points. The inspector came the last day and said the work was well done.

Matt Molzan helped us update our entire old house to ensure all lighting/electrical was up to code with the City of Tacoma. He then navigated the permit process with the inspection department getting the approval on the first meeting, with no delays. Our family highly recommends Synergy Electric + Technology if you want the job done right the first time.

The project is to replace a dripping faucet. On the morning of appointment, i got a message saying that the fixer is not comfortable with the task. They could find a replacement in an hour or so. The technician is on time and is nice and friendly. the problem is he does not have plumbing tools to resize the faucet to fit it. He could fix it by shopping for a repair kit. Overall the dripping problem was solved. the faucet replacement would have costed little more but would have been a long term solution for me.

We have an older Napolean gas fireplace that would not light no matter how many tutorials and tricks we tried. There are very few companies in the Snohomish county (North) area that work on this brand so when I called CM and they confirmed that they work on Napolean I made the appointment. The only downside was the wait time (6 weeks), but they are well rated and booked for a reason. The company emailed an appointment reminder two days before, called day of and emailed a photo of the technician prior to the arrival. The customer service component was really great, as was the technician that was sent out. He was incredibly friendly, punctual, and found the issue (bent starter) and fixed it. He provided helpful information about the fireplace and our options for replacement when it does eventually give out. I highly recommend using this company and will call again for their services.

First time writing review. Our home had one circuit consistently tripping and Sam came to fix the problem in the next day of quote. It's was estimated for an hour task but took 3 hours because the complexity of the problem itself. I was not getting any additional charge. Still flat fee as quoted! He patiently went to crawlspace and check all the internal circuits. Sam ended up tracing all the way to the community public lighting using my home power for many years and it shortcut. Sam redefined my expectation to the electrician!

Based on a referral by a trusted friend, I hired RezaLectric to completely redo all the lighting and outlets in the new house I just purchased. And wow, I had no idea what an amazing difference it would make in my house.
Reza and his team were very professional, their work was spotless, and their prices were fair. Reza the owner has a serious talent for lighting; their work far exceeded my expectations.

We discovered Washington Energy at the Home Show in Seattle in Feb 2016. We were impressed with the ductless heating and cooling system and wanted it for our home. Jason Larson was an extremely knowledgable, courteous and respectful sales man who came to our home, answered all of our questions and discussed multiple options for paying for the system we wanted. We were extremely impressed with the level of service we got from him and the timely installation of the system.
Nate and Carlos installed our system in two days and were courteous, respectful of our home and cleaned up prior to leaving and Nate stayed late to answer all of our questions and teach us how to use our new unit.
We are impressed with the level of service we received with Washington Energy and we will definitely be using them again in the future! Very Satisfied!

From the start everything was flawless, Eric was on time, professional, and exceeded our expectations. Desk staff was professional, and no issues with scheduling. We had a 24 kw generator installed, the installation crew was on time, professional, very knowledgeable in their craft, respected our home & answered all questions and addressed any additional concerns. We would highly recommend Washington Electric.

Had Brandon come out and install two circuits and replace a breaker. I learned a ton talking to him - he pointed out existing advantages I didn't know I had in my electrical system and made recommendations to protect the electronics in my house. Very fair pricing, very fast and professional work and very friendly! Loved that he was happy to explain everything he did and why.

A team of two friendly and knowledgeable electricians came early in the morning and had my job completed in 3 hours. I'm glad to have updated fixtures and wires hooked up correctly! Thank you so much Angela and Marc!

We had such a great experience with Todd. Very knowledgeable. He was great at helping us figure out how to stay on track with our budget. Hard worker, super friendly and approachable with all questions. He was upfront with what to expect. We will be using him again in the future.

The work: I had 3 total outlets I needed moved and 2 light switches and a (??speaker control??- we don't use) switched to the other side of a wall. Was a phone jack too but the electrician said not to bother with it once he was there... Not really useful. Just cut the wire off.
I'm a fair person so here's the break down.
The good:
Overall the company did well.
-I was happy with the look of the work ( haven't tested it yet)
-technicians that were sent out were friendly.
-they cleaned up nicely and tried to lay a tarp down to protect the floors.
What I was not happy with -
- they went to the wrong address and so showed up late.
- soon after arriving they took a quick look and informed me they were going to run to Home Depot to buy a few things, grab lunch and come back.... ( so electricians did not carry basic outlets or Tamper resistant gfi's with them - which are required by code)
- they didn't give me an invoice after completion.... Claimed I would have to be billed for the time spent writing it up. (Ok- I figured they were being nice. )The tech assured me the bill would be what was estimated- 4 hrs.
- got the bill 1 week later in the mail. I won't say the price, but was 35% higher than estimate! They ( unknown to me) charge for travel time and time spent buying the materials . Home Depot is less than 6 min from my house. Literally. I understand an estimate can go up, but that's a bit much.
Granted I don't think he included tax on his estimate.
As for travel time- we live in the same city as the company.
So- good work , nice guys, but know they will charge you for any travel time , there will be extra $$ since they don't keep the materials for the job with them, and insist on an invoice at the end- no matter what!
Oh and dont bother calling for an explanation or assistance .the owner did not act sorry or even concerned at all- instead insisted I was getting excited over nothing and made it my problem. ( I'm sorry if I don't have $$ to just waste )
But he is right- it's my problem and my solution will be to pay but not to use them or recommend them to anyone in the future, good work or not .

Black Hills did an outstanding job for us on our challenging furnace/heat pump installation. We have a master suite that was added on by the previous owner in a nonprofessional way(DIY). It made Black Hill's job very difficult and we showed them the potential problems up front, but they gave their word they would be very responsive and make it work. They were quick to reply to trouble calls during installation and now we have an excellent HVAC system.
