I found Yury extremely rude, although the person who assists him was very nice.  What he fixed on my lamp broke before I even got home!  Because I found him so distasteful, didn't even want to return with the lamp.  I am surprised by all the favorable reviews and wondering if Yury and friends/family wrote them.

Asked for rekeying of five doors, repair of a non-functional bathroom fan, and fixing of a window that wouldn't open. Vladimir came on time and was communicative with me when the rekeying got complicated, but he got it done along with the window repair.

The fan wasn't able to be repaired though Vladimir tried a new switch, and Mike arranged for himself to come several days later to try again. He confirmed the fan itself was working but something had gone wrong with the switch wiring. He got a simpler switch (a simple throw switch without a off-timer sensor), and that solved the issue. In total, I paid $500 for the services (i.e., not including new hardware installed). Mike discounted me $100 for the second visit.

I appreciated that, for both the rekeying and fan, the repairmen proposed workarounds to me that I found acceptable to get the job done. Communications were always polite. I'm very inexperienced with repair costs, but the cost seemed pretty good to me.

I needed a new outlet in our bathroom that was a challenge to install due to being an older home.  I had two contractors come out to give me an estimate.  One didn't want to tackle the project and the other wanted to charge a lot of money.  I called AC electric and spoke with Michael the owner who was very responsive to my plight.  He sent out Edward who he said was good at this kind of challenge.  Edward showed up on time assessed the situation and told me he could do it today!  He installed the new outlet and also checked out our track light that wasn't working.  I was told by one of the other contractors that I needed to replace the entire track light and fixtures.  Edward fixed it by the tightening loose wires.  He cleaned up and left the place spotless.

I highly recommend AC Electric for their great customer service and great value for their expertise.  I will use them in the future and will recommend them to others.

Jesus is THE BEST! Our school needed some fast electrical work and he was there within a couple hours, and an absolute pro. He was thorough in diagnosing the problem, explaining it to us, and quoting us fair prices. He did such an excellent job that we had him come back two days later to do another project we'd been putting off. He is also unbelievably friendly and such a pleasant person to work with during a stressful time. Thank you for your work, Jesus!

I first met Mark Schulkamp in 2004 when I was renovating my Oakland Hills kitchen. His crew provided 1st-rate work on the project.

But the real story happened later. I am a board member for Oakland Fund for the Arts, a small 501(c)3 that raises funds for arts educations programs in under-served Oakland public schools. There are some schools that are beyond under-served, like Hawthorne Elementary in West Oakland. Now a charter school, they had a ceramics kiln that OFFTA had paid for back in the late 1990s, but when the school became charter, the kiln ended up far from a power source in a basement.

I asked Mark if he could help us get power to the kiln in its new location. After some (probably endless) negotiation with OUSD, he sent over my favorite electrician (hi Vince!) who took care of everything. The kids at Hawthorne Elementary got back their ceramics kiln.

Mark never charged me a dime for this. Sometime later I figured out this is just the way he is. He has helped charitable institutions endlessly. That's just the way he runs his business.

Robert did an amazing job installing my home audio and video.  He set up surround sound in my huge living room, safely mounted my TV on the wall and sourced the best Audio for me to use.  He went so far as to connect everything seamlessly, and even gave me a full lesson on how to run it all!  He was very communicative, thoughtful, considerate and mindful when working with me on how I wanted to approach this project.  He left the job done with out a mess and working perfectly.  I would highly recommend Bulterman Electric over all others in the Bay Area!

Our client wanted large Darlana outdoor lighting, which are very large and extremely expensive. She also wanted two fireplace mantle crystal sconces, and three picture lights. Immediately, I thought of Kate Space sconces and Chapman & Meyers cabinet picture lights - both made with quality brass. The showroom manager, Linda, was extremely helpful and provided us an extra 10% off. She took care of our needs quickly and was very knowledgeable.

Before the backordered lanterns would arrive, the electrical team realized the lanterns were too large for the patio bifold door opening that the contractors were currently building (and there was actually a code to respect in terms of height). Since they were building the opening of these bifold doors AFTER we ordered the lights, everything changed.

I called immediately to cancel, but the lanterns arrived that same day. I spoke to Jonathan and he was super helpful - we were able to order new lights that would fit and follow code for this spot. He even emailed me a variety of options that would work in our space with clickable links, which made the process much easier for me. The exchange was a smooth process and they even waived the return restocking fee as a one-time courtesy. I also spoke with Madison and she was very sweet.

Everyone here is so helpful and kind. I'm so grateful this showroom is located in the Bay Area - we are lucky!

I contacted Electric Heroes last week to get an estimate on the light fixture I wanted done and they responded promptly to what I considered a reasonable price.  They sent over their associate Kevin Martinez who did an amazing job in installing the light fixture and my new LCD dimmer He was friendly and patient considering I had a considerable amount of questions - the next time I need electrical work done, I will definitely contact Electric Heroes and ask for Kevin -

Ben was great!  I gave him a call in the morning for a quote,  he was able to schedule me in the same day and come out in the afternoon.  I had two tasks that I needed help with:  fixing a spigot and moving the washer and dryer out so I could clean underneath as we had an overflow issue.  He was polite, efficient and professional.  In just under two hours everything was done.  Ben was an absolute perfectionist. He made sure to test out the washer/ dryer after he reconnected both. He noticed that the washer was shaking a lot during the extraction process.  So he took extra time to level and make sure everything was in good order.

Will definitely be reaching back out for any future projects!

Mike may be the best repair man I've ever requested support from. He's long been my #1 go-to. Mike's experienced and efficient in attaining solutions, and he's honest and reasonable regarding charges for his services. I feel he's a genuinely good person and an ethical handyman who goes the extra mile to ensure his customers' best interests are supported. I highly recommend Mike!

I honestly can not recommend Wire Tech enough. We are managing two electrical projects in our home, in addition to a BUNCH of other renovation work. Wire Tech was sensitive to our schedule, communicative, and quick to get our project completed as quickly as possible so we could proceed with other work. Great experience... Jamie showed up on time....fixed all the electrical issues (previous wiring was incorrect) and also recommended the appropriate switches to ensure I could control my lights through a wireless app.....highly recommended!!

Carlos, the owner confirmed an appointment to meet me at a client's property for consultation and to give me  a quote/estimate . No call, no show. I called him back  to see if he was on his way for our confirmed appointment . No response or callback to say he couldn't make the appointment or to reschedule the appointment.

Used them for a few jobs now and been happy every time. Cleaned up after themselves (which is really important for me) and a great price. Super responsive too.
