These guys have done a few big projects for us (awesome work), but they just helped me for free via email for something that I couldn't figure out (Circuit was blown for one outlet and dishwasher and couldn't get it to re-set)!  Other electricians were quoting $200 just to show up.  He took the time to email me a few paragraphs worth of ideas/suggestions and it worked.

Josh, along with his father, James, and one other worker installed garage lighting, a motion sensor floodlight, a dining room pendant, and bedroom outlet, and performed a few other odd jobs.  High quality work, reasonably priced, professional, responsive, and a pleasure to work with.  I agree with all the other positive reviews and would definitely recommend them and hire them again.

Dave was able to quickly and efficiently add an air gap for my dishwasher and add GFCI switch in my kitchen.  He was responsive and professional.

Todor and team did an excellent job updating the electrical system in my two-unit building, including adding new service, relocating the main panels and meters, installing new sub-panels, updating wiring, installing new lighting, changing out switches and outlets, etc.  The work was done efficiently and we got all permit sign-offs and the PG&E green tag very quickly.  Amazing quality and service all around.

Bedr is super responsive and professional. I should have called a lot sooner!!  I had been procrastinating a bunch of small projects for months thinking that I was going to DIY them, but I finally stopped the madness and called!  It took less than 1 hour to hang 2 floating shelves, photos that had been laying around forever, and 4 spice racks in my kitchen !! He came prepared with all the tools and knew what he was doing.  He even checked out my annoying toilet that was constantly running and showed me the problem so I could fix it myself if it happened in the future. Looking forward to working with him on all my future handyman projects.  Thank you!!

I contacted Alley Electric in December to have wall fishing done on my cable from the 3rd to the 2nd floor of my condo.  Alley Electric, Wesley and Alina came out to do the job.  I showed them some solid outlets behind my dresser.  Alina was able to reach her arm in and pull out cable lines.  The 2nd floor already had cable.  They put a splitter and ran a line to my desk.  I now have phone and Internet at my desk.  It is working beautifully.  They did not charge me the full price of the job.  

If I have electrical needs in the future, I will not hesitate to call Alley Electric!

We were having an issue with a switch in our bathroom and did not know why lights were not working.   Finally called HMB Electric, and Kristy, over the phone, was able to help us do the simple fix needed!   Amazing customer service and kind, patient demeanor.   It is a super cute shop with many practical and eclectic items.   So happy to have this great shop in Half Moon Bay!

Had them come and install track lighting in our kitchen and add a few new outlets when we were doing a quick remodel.  Great service, sent us to a great store to pick our fixtures and we've been really happy (also VERY competitive price wise).

A year later our track lighting was acting a little funky so I called back.  They came out next day, fixed it quickly and didn't charge.

These are our guys from now on.

I contacted Diablo Valley Handyman and scheduled the job thru James, the owner, and gave me a reasonable quote.  I needed to remove several fairly large outdoor window shutters throughout the 2nd floor exteriors that were coming apart.  The handyman, Ryan, came by and did an exceptional job, removing, sealing, patching and paint; all done on a very hot day. Job well done.

My 10-year old under-cabinet light ballasts all failed, and via NextDoor.com noticed a posting from Brett Bryant at Lights Out.  He responded promptly to my inquiry and within a few days his colleague Shad replaced all four light fixtures with top quality, state-of-the-art LED lights...and will soon return to install a new light fixture in the breakfast room and replace an old 1936 electric wall socket.  I am delighted with the quality of workmanship and the friendly service and gladly recommend Lights Out without hesitation!

We've used Ike's now for several lighting installations, both inside and outside our home, and have been nothing but thrilled. Their quality of work is outstanding, their service is terrific, and they're also very responsive to customer needs/request. Their pricing also appears to be very fair when compared with other service providers. I'd highly recommend Ike's Electric!

Arrived on time, worked very efficiently. Definitely had relevant experience regarding installation of EV chargers. So far very satisfied!

This review should be taken with a grain of salt because I didn't have any actual electrical work done, but I had a phenomenally helpful phone call.  I'm looking at buying a house, but it needs some old electrical equipment replaced.  The seller tried to convince me it's going to cost $5000, but Allen (at Pierce Electric) gave me a lot of very helpful information and explained that to make the house safe from electrical fires will be much more expensive.  The one phone call I made to Pierce Electric may well have just saved me from $20,000 in expenses and months of legal battles after I bought my house.

Contacted T.E.K Electric through yelp to get a quote to extend wiring in bathroom wall for a LED mirror.   I had installed the Mirror myself and removed the old light fixture, but the cable in the wall was not long enough to extend myself.   Was contacted by TEK for an appointment Thursday 12/13/18.  I took the morning off work (11-1130AM) to be home for their electrician to come by.  He never showed up.  3 hours after the window they called to say he got stuck on a job.  I understand, things happen.    TEK rescheduled the appointment to 12/14/18, and said that I would be the FIRST on the electricians list, so I made it for 10-1030AM and again took a day off work.   It is now 1518 (3:18PM) and I have not seen an installer, nor has TEK called me.  Again, I can appreciate things happening, but no communication and clearly not being the first on the installers list is just a slap in the face.

If you like wasting time (2 days off), go with TEK.  If you actually want an electrician to come out, call someone else.

Arturo was very professional and polite. When something didn't work out - the part didn't fit, he didn't charge me. Good guy!

John was referred to me by a neighbor in my complex as the electrician of choice for installing a electric vehicle charging station.  His entire process was easy and straightforward, and John kindly and sweetly accommodated my last minute plan change (turns out you shouldn't really surprise an electrician!).  He and his technician Sergei worked steadily and quickly to get the work done.  John handled the permit from start to finish.  And the price was very fair.  I highly recommend Hoffman Electric.
