Best Electricians in California

Had Ken upgrade my service panel, replacing the old FPE panel with a new, safer box. Ken made a fast, thorough job of it, and was very responsive and professional throughout the process. I'm very happy with the work he did and will be relying on him for further electrical service in the future.

Lex saved the day after we had some fried circuits and appliances after a power surge. He had a very quick response time and was very professional and capable. He fixed the problem. Highly recommend!!

We hired Bay Valley Electric for our kitchen remodel. They sent over Sebastian and he did an awesome job doing a panel upgrade and changed all my lights to LED. I picked out light pendants to hang over my island and he installed it to the perfect height. I will definitely hire them again for all my electrical needs.

These guys bailed me out tonight! I noticed that one of my light switch covers was super hot & next thing I know, everything in the entire living room shut off. I freaked out & called them (per my HOA's recommendation).  They sent someone over right away, fixed the jacked up light switch, which could have easily caused a fire and saved my condo!  Didn't charge me over the top either.

Craig is a professional and efficient electrician. He did an excellent job installing a Tesla wall charger for me. He was able to quickly inspect and propose optimal solutions based on my situation and needs. We actually got both inspection and installation done in one visit. Saved me a lot of time!

Rhonda and Geoff are great.  Rhonda is prompt at returning calls, and she's incredibly knowledgeable about their work as well as professional, honest/upfront, and accommodating about their workload.  Geoff is a true electrician... he may seem rough around the edges, but he knows his stuff, is efficient and no-nonsense, and he did actually crack a smile at the end of his visit to my home.  :)

Here was my situation... I tried to install a light fixture myself in my daughters' room.  I turned off the appropriate circuit break (as labeled by the previous electrician), but alas, when I went to put in the new fixture, there were two giant sparks, and I blew out the circuit to my girls' room, my bathroom, and my bedroom.  I was VERY concerned about my girls' bedroom re: potential fire, etc.... apparently, the previous electrician mislabeled the circuit breakers, and there was still some current running through the wires I was working with.  (I was very lucky I was uninjured.)  Anyways, due to the safety concern, I called many, MANY electricians in the area, and they all told me they couldn't come for WEEKS.  Not so with Williams Electric!  Rhonda spoke with Geoff, and due to the safety concerns, they fit me in right away, even though his day and upcoming weeks were already packed.  I REALLY, REALLY appreciated this.  Geoff came within 12 hours, ignored the usual pleasantries of intros, etc., and went right to work on the light fixture, circuit, and panel.  He not only got the fixture working, he did some magic with the panel in 10 minutes that got my shorted circuit working again.  He then told me about some deficiencies in my panel (old electrician use wrong kind of breakers), and he was honest about the criticality of changing it (doesn't need to be done right away, but should be done to prevent things like this in future; totally didn't try to sell me or anything). (Then he smiled. :) )

Other things to note:
- Their rate was less than half of what another electrician was quoting me for an emergency call.
- I also love that they are local to my Oakland neighborhood!

Kevin and Johnny were a pleasure to work with. What seemed like an easy job turned into something trickier, but they worked through it with patience and persistence. They communicated well throughout the job.

Mark Silva was friendly, professional and punctual. We are completely satisfied with the work he performed.  He installed a 240v/NEMA 14-50 in our garage. I highly recommend Twins Electric for all your electrical needs.

Worst customer service ever...Had my entire heating redone they talked up a great plan but fell short on the A/C unit been almost two years now and I'm still waiting.I have made countless phone calls to the manager who does not return them.I paid to have all the power ran according to there spec's  but  don't hear from them.I have called the office to complain b ut was told that the person I needed to talk to was the FLAKE handling my service.I did speak to him finally who promised me a call back by the end of the day that was over a month ago.I called the office to leave word for the owner that was 3 weeks ago...still waiting take my advice stay away from these guy's.

I was very surprised at this business; and sad to say, this is my very first negative review on Yelp.

Sam was nice on the phone and in person.

However, Sam had rescheduled my appointment because he forgot he had another client, took 21 days to send us a quote, and provided us information for a receiver which is available at Best Buy for 1/5th of the price quoted.

Disappointing.
