Worked with Ryan for scheduling and Mike for the work. I had a back door installation I needed done and they did an awesome job! Their pricing was extremely competitive and Ryan and Mike were both extremely responsive. Due to my house being totally uneven, the installation took much longer than anticipated. Ryan and Mike made sure to still do a great job and ended up coming back the next day to finish the job and get all the finishes done. I really appreciate the responsiveness and that they did whatever it took to get the job done, even with a smaller job in a crazy market where contractors are a hot commodity. Will definitely be using them again for future projects.

I have used The Scottsdale Handyman for years. When I used to own rental properties all I did was call Eddie & give him the info about the particular problem &  the contact info on a tenant & Eddie would take it from there. The work was done in a timely manner & never had a complaint about his lack of professionalism or his manners. From installing a water heater to hanging pictures. From fixing irrigation to installing toilet & such, Eddie can do it all. I have found that there is no job too small or too large for The Scottsdale Handyman!

James is very personable & professional.  He does great work in a timely manner.

Ruben will not rest until you are satisfied.  Hands down will work his ass off to make sure you are totally happy with the end result.  Had Ruben and his crew remodel a guest bathroom, update my patio (support beam an roof), and create for me a brand new pool gate for me.  At a very affordable price with finishes that look absolutely beautiful, Ruben will make sure he gets the job done to your satisfaction.  One night he worked until 11pm to get the project done!!!  Who does that?  Who goes above and beyond?  Well, that's Ruben for you.  Thanks Ruben and crew for all the hard work and professionalism!

Luke and his team were very professional and experienced with our bathroom remodels. I felt the price quoted was competitive and they were able to stay on schedule to the best of their ability. I filled out the online quote request for a large remodeling job at our house. It included enlarging a bedroom, or potentially adding one, and converting our carport into a garage. I missed a call from Jason the next day. He sounded nice enough. I called back and left a message with Bill. No return call. I called the next day. Again Bill answered and said he'd relay the message to Jason. No return call. I called one last time and still couldn't get through. Then I realized if I were hiring these guys I would really want them to be more accessible and willing to talk to me. It was horrible business practice and first impression. I would have probably have used these guys for the house we are trying to sell and the next one that we are soon buying if they had been reliable.

Bob is a true craftsman and takes pride in his work. His tiling work was of great quality, with a quick turnaround, and a reasonable price. His knowledge and experience easily surpassed the others we considered. Call Bob, you won't be disappointed.

I contacted KC Krew to roof a new addition to my home and possibly re-roof my entire home.  I met with Karla and Alex and they were very professional, respectful and understanding of me as a homeowner who had a very bad experience with a general contractor.   They provided me with a great quote and I ended up hiring them.  Alex's crew showed up on time and did a significant amount of work the first day removing the old shingles and prepping for the new ones.  They finished the next day and I am very pleased with the quality of their work in addition to cleaning up all of the roofing debris.  Not that I will be needing a new roof anytime soon, but I'd call them back up in a heartbeat and I will recommend them to my friends.  Thank you Karla and Alex!

Jesus was great! Work was done on time and for the agreed amount. Couldn't ask for better. He even stuck it out through a bit of nonsense with the neighbor about the block wall/fence location. Would highly recommend!

There is a reason there are several 1* reviews here. Jerry is full of excuses and does sub-par work. We hired him based on a reference he did for a friend's bathroom; they said he is very slow, but does good work. We had a larger job, a kitchen, family room and tile work. He assured us he could do the job, and the work on his website looked good. We should have checked more references. The reality is that Jerry may be ok at bathrooms, but he does none of the work himself. His two sons do the work at a snails pace, and Jerry runs around all day doing nothing except creating elaborate invoices for work and materials that he may or may not have provided, without providing full details of charges, and full or errors and smokescreens. When you ask him about the errors, that are obvious he becomes combative and asks if you think he is trying to rip you off, which is absolutely the case! He later admits to the errors with little apology, and does it again a week later. He brings sub-contractors on the job to do work without notice; you never see their invoices of course. You get no notice of who they are or ability to check them out and are stuck. We later found out a dustless tile removal company did not even offer that service. Another company was also a disaster; both left AWFUL messes in our home. Electrical work done by Jerry's crew was completed all wrong; they left outlets live and exposed. They could not figure out basic plumbing in a kitchen. At one point he said What the F*#! is a potfiller?  What kitchen remodel contractor does not know that?
In a short time we realized Jerry was in over his head, was not qualified, and was truly ripping us off, but we felt stuck. However, by the 3rd week when he presented his 5th updated invoice that was impossible to reconcile, Jerry got rude and belligerent with us on the phone and told us to find another contractor. We were happy to be rid of him and have spent months finding honest workers to finish our remodel. Unfortunately, he of course owes a refund on money paid to him for work he never did, and we have had to pay others to have work corrected and completed from his disastrous work. Stay away from Jerry, he is awful!

Two no show appointments. First scheduled consultation was not communicated to the actual consulting personal and was missed. Second scheduled appointment no show and no contact.

I became aware of this business when I decided I needed a walk-in shower for safety reasons installed in my guest bathroom. They had an ad in a community magazine delivered to my house monthly. I called, they sent Rob out to do a presentation, he gave me a price which was better then others I'd received plus his product was stylish compared to others I'd reviewed. I signed the deal in early December.  Joe came out to do the final measurements and take pictures about a week later. Start date was to be late December to early January.  Job started on time with one hitch. The pictures Joe showed Chris, the installer, were of someone else's bathroom, not mine. Mine was much more complicated to tear out then what Chris had prepared for. Chris arranged for the office to send out 3 guys to take out my old tub and shower. Only one showed up. In any case the old was torn out, and Chris got started on the installation. He was a master craftsman. Marvelous work. Only one other hitch occurred. The shower door company put the wrong color trim in the box. That took a couple of days to get the right trim to my place. The end result is absolutely beautiful. I'm so proud of that shower, and it has so much utility I'm happy to write this review. Wish I would've done it sooner.

And I now have the handles that I ordered. Vanity looks so much better and David did a great job, cleaned up any mess from drilling new holes . I'm now happy and thank David and Joe for completing the job as ordered.

The consultant was polite, however not amazingly helpful. We told her several times we needed insight for design and she just basically kept showing us everything they offer. Not to mention the price was completely obtuse. I did gain a slight amount of insight into our potential design based upon samples. If you happen to be able to afford beyond super expensive, then this may be the place for you. After 4.5 hours, totally disappointed in the experience the company so boldly emphasizes. I can get an amazing g experience for 1/3 of the quote and still have a luxury bathroom per two other reputable companies.

I paid David Roberts $9000 for a home project in Kingman that he has done little work on that was to be completed in June 2021. I understand that he has personal issues that have complicated his life, however, he is a businessman and needs to complete his contract with me. I will replace this adverse review with a positive recommendation upon completion of the project. David did call me today assuring me that he would get back on the job. Let's get it done, David. Until then I could not recommend doing business with you.

I hired Wendler Construction to renovate my home, he in turn hired D and J Construction to frame parts of the original house, an 800 sqft addition and garage.  They did a horrible job... they used 2x4's when the plans called for 2x6's, used wrong footings on the front wall of the house, used wrong calculations on the truss fabrication thus not allowing enough room for the hvac duct work, and had to reframe interior walls and a new skylight, which they did wrong resulting in having to purchase a custom skylight.  Wendler Construction's lack of experience, skill, and ability to manage my renovation, caused over 5 months of delays and tens of thousands of dollars in additional costs.  And then halfway thru the project, right after Christmas break, Wendler Construction quit on me.  After almost a year in construction, I am still finding mistakes made under Wendler Construction's management.  I would not recommend them.
