Wanting to get a new toilet installed, I made several frustrating calls to plumbers (who quoted outrageous prices and time frames) and other handymen (most didn't return my phone messages) , I contacted Jake, who promptly answered his phone. He quoted a very reasonable fee and could come that afternoon.

He was timely in his arrival, very courteous, and a neat worker who knew what he was doing. The installation was completed very quickly. I told him his fee was too low and paid him extra. I highly recommend Jake and I will call him when I need his services again.

I would not recommend Handyman Jason. Thankfully there are lots of other handymen in the Valley to choose from!

CrackerJacks was really responsive in setting up a time to come out to our house.  After seeing all the great reviews, I was really excited to get someone in to take care of our list of handyman items, and Gino was great to work with via email.  

Based on the reviews all concerning Gino, I expected him to be the one at my door.  The other man who showed up was kind and respectful, but at the end of the day we were very disappointed.  We needed all three of our children's sliding closets tuned up.  He replaced the railing, but the new floor guides that we paid for him to get at Home Depot were not screwed firmly into the ground and 3 out of 4 of them were already broken when he left our house.  We got new carpet, so he had to shave the doors down, and one he shaved too short and it no longer stays within the bottom guide.  A week after he was at our house, we already have one closet door off the tracks.  

We had him install a new fancy bathroom fan, and he put it in but didn't wire in the light or speaker for it.  He did go back and do that, but - since we were paying an hourly rate - that was more money for him to take the time to unscrew it and put it back again.  

He put up a mirror in my daughter's room, and that looks great!

We paid $700 for him to be at our house for the day doing this list of things, and having those closet doors in worse shape than before he came is really just sad for us.  I emailed Gino after he left, but somehow our email string via Yelp had been stopped.  I will be calling Gino to see if he will make this right and will update my Yelp review.

UPDATE: After posting this, Luis contacted me before I had a chance to get in touch with Gino.  He set up a time to get out to my house right away, and scheduled plenty of time to get the job right.  He fixed the bottom guide for the closets, and had me take a look at it.  One closet was still rubbing and another one was not secure, so he worked on it a little longer and now they are all running beautifully!

I really should have checked out Luis's work before he left, and I'm sure he would have made it right before he left.  These guys really do want you to be happy and take pride in their work!  They've been really nice to work with!

Just had Charlie fix a leaky shower head. He showed up on time was very professional and was reasons le. Highly recommend.

Chip and her team are busy, but you'll never feel like you're not their top priority. They remodeled a 1960s apartment for me that had a lot of plumbing and electrical issues. Now, it's up-to-date and stunning. It was a fun experience because I not only knew I was in capable hands, but Chip is resourceful and creative. There was never a problem she couldn't solve. Who's my favorite contractor? She is!

We were in need of handyman service to replace the ceiling on our patio and checked Yelp as always. After reading the history and learning they were a family-run business, we called B4 and After. Ruben returned our call promptly and scheduled a time to come look over the project. We weren't sure what to do with the ceiling but we needn't have worried. Ruben came up with a great idea and his quote was very reasonable. Work began the following week and was completed in time for a cookout we had scheduled. In fact, Ruben worked into the evening the night before to be sure the project was done in time. His workmanship was excellent and instead of being an embarrassment the ceiling is now a source of pride. We would highly recommend B4 and After!

We had Matt do a complete remodel for our backyard patio removing existing lattice work from a pergola and replacing beams, and adding a roof with shingles to match our house.  They then painted all of the wood and added electrical for a future fan. It took them about 5 days but he and his crew did everything we requested.  They worked diligently every day in the extreme heat and did an excellent job.  We highly recommend Matt's company and would gladly use his services again!!!  (Side note: In the future, he may be changing his company name, to Desert Horizon Services.)

Brad did a great job installing our ceiling fans. Response time was excellent and was able to schedule the next day.

Michael immediately answered my online request, which in itself is worth 5 stars. He is honest, fair, hardworking and knowledgeable. He is great at problem solving and overcoming challenges. I recommend him for larger construction type projects but the meticulous cosmetic details you may want to finish yourself. I will definitely call Michael again for future projects!

Michael was prompt in coming over to give us a quote on some handyman services that we ended up booking with him for the next day! He was professional, knowledgeable and friendly when it came to the job! And creatively installed a bathroom exhaust fan. We worked with him for a good part of the day and he helped us accomplish a bunch, including a light fixture swap out, dimmer switch install, adjusting a new bed headboard, adding outdoor towel hooks and more! We'd definitely use his services again!

I reached out on a Saturday for some help with installing a new faucet and fixing a leak in the bathroom. Sam was super quick to respond and was to the point and didn't ask 100 questions before committing to the project. He came by same day and fixed the leak and replaced the faucet within a couple hours! I would definitely hire him again for any other handyman type work around the house and highly recommend!

I paid David Roberts $9000 for a home project in Kingman that he has done little work on that was to be completed in June 2021. I understand that he has personal issues that have complicated his life, however, he is a businessman and needs to complete his contract with me. I will replace this adverse review with a positive recommendation upon completion of the project. David did call me today assuring me that he would get back on the job. Let's get it done, David. Until then I could not recommend doing business with you.
