After numerous phone calls and no show appointments to other roofing companies I was lucky to call Caliber.  From the initial phone call to the final tile nailed in place we have been more than pleased.  The communication, THE PRICE, the detail to make our roof 100 percent.   Thank you.

My husband and I were looking into buying our first home in the Mesa area, before we made our purchase the current owners allowed us to get the roof inspected. After calling multiple roofing businesses and getting the run around or being told that it would take a couple weeks to come out, I was frustrated! So I turned to Google, that's when I found The Roofing Company. Upon calling I felt like I was immediately being taken care of. The woman that answered the phone was actually the owner of the company and very pleasant to talk to. She scheduled my free estimate three days from the day I was calling!!! Fast forward, a man named Shane called me early the morning of my estimate, he said he was going to be running a few minutes behind and wanted to make sure that was going to still work out with my schedule. Actually it worked great for me, I was running late as well! Upon his arrival he informed me what he was going to be looking for and as I watched him, he did his job with care and was very respectful. As he came off the roof he said there were a few broken tiles and that they could be fixed in no time at all. That was great news. I went back to the home owners and told them of the findings, they then called The Roofing business and scheduled to get the tiles repaired. The homeowner thanked me for finding such a good, prompt company!
Would I recommend this company? Absolutely! And for future reference I will be keeping there business card and information to use and pass along!

Professional and responsive. The subcontractor for gutters after roof was completed was great as well.  Brian was easy to communicate with and quick to respond. The smaller company was a good choice

Beware Homeowners of what you are getting yourself into with this company. I will list simple facts about how this company operates for you to hopefully see this before you make the mistake of signing anything.
1) The contract Tempel Roofing uses is no ordinary contract, it is an assignment of benefits contract that will strip you as a homeowner of all rights to your own claim and money that will come with it, leaving all rights to Tempel Roofing to supplement and take as long as they would like before putting your roof on, and you will legally have no say in the matter after signing this contract.(Tempel has customers that have been waiting over a year for their roof to be put on after insurance paid for full replacement.)
2) Tempel roofing will rush to get a front end check from you, the next tactic in the process is to collect money fast to fulfill a 30% cancellation fee should you decide you dont like Tempel Roofings handling of your business and the final step into fully trapping you behind the assignment of benefits contract you signed.
3) In the supplementing process between Tempel and your insurance company, you will see that they are billing your insurance company twice the amount of full replacement paid by your insurance, sometimes 3 times the amount, even after insurance paid for a full replacement, and this can take quite some time of which you have no say in the matter. Not to mention the fraud committed in the supplements such as charging for a safety class for his roofing crews. 1. this does not take place and 2. there are no in house crews affiliated with Tempel Roofing, they are subcontracted crews.
4) Should you have any problems during the process and would like to reach out to the office, good luck. The office is a vacant rented room for mailing purposes, there is no one in office to greet you or a receptionist to take your calls. It is almost a guarantee that if you call the office number you will go straight to voicemail.

The above is simple facts provided in hopes to inform homeowners, so that you can make an informed decision about the contractor you choose. There are plenty of roofing companies in the valley that will be truthful, helpful, and respectful throughout the process.

Had multiple companies come out to give an estimate on underlayment replacement for our tile roof. They all wanted north of $25-30K to do the job. Had Mike with AZ Shingle Pros come out, and he not only told me that we did not need to replace the underlayment that it had many years left on it. He showed me how good it was compared to ones that he has replaced. Super honest of him as a business owner. He then did a walk on the rest of our roof and found several other issues that were supposedly fixed by another roofing company that he has taken care of for us. Highly recommend this company and will use them for any future roofing needs.

Had my front and back porch roof redone a year ago by PCC Roofing and they did a great job they were efficient and cleaned up great after. I had a monsoon issue a year later and they were quick to come out and help me with the issue they even fixed a part of my roof that had nothing to do with the job they did. Very professional good guys I'd recommend this company to anyone.

Our neighbor referred us to these guys and I'm so glad they did. I can't say enough about Ron and his crew.  From start to completion they had an amazing work ethic and were diligent about cleaning up after each day. The workmanship is wonderful and we are very happy with them and the result!

Eric, the Owner and CEO did a roofing inspection for us.  We recently replaced our roof with another company and had a leak right after.

There has been some confusion as to who needed to take responsibility, our roofer or HVAC.  Eric was hired to come and give his professional opinion on how to move forward to address the leaking roof.

Eric came out quickly and made a very thoughtful and thorough inspection.  He took time to explain it to all of us, as well as the two contractors.  I was beyond impressed by his patience and care.  He communicated clearly and helped us all understand the situation.  He communicated well with us from beginning to end; both in scheduling, inspection, and his thorough email.  This was most impressive.

We were so impressed by him, that we wished we would have hired his company to replace our roof.  I would not hesitate to recommend him and his company.  Thank you, Eric for a very positive experience during a stressful time.

Be very careful dealing with this company. They came out and made an estimate which we accepted. We signed the contract only to be informed later that there was a mathematical error in the number of squares and that they would not do the job for the contract price. They wanted 20% / $2000 more to do it. Very disappointing.

Update: Next day: the district manager called, apologized, and emphatically stated they stand by their contracts. I did not have to complain or contact them. So we will be getting the roof after all. Mistakes happen and this company is willing to make it right. I'm raising my stars to mid-level. Stand by for a final update, but right now I would say this company is ok.

I needed a written Inspection Report from them for my refinancing company. They did come out in a timely manner; the problem was that they did not understand my request and did not give me the report just a receipt for the payment. As of today, I still have not had any response from them. Part of the problem was that the Gentlemen who came out did not speak or understand English. I would love to give them business, he was very polite and did seem to know what he was doing but they did not do what I ask and charged me for it

James called within an hour of finding MSW on HomeAdvisor. He came out the next morning and did an estimate, the pricing was much better than I expected. I needed my home's foam roof patched and resprayed with protective coating, they also did my shed. Everything was completed within four days of first contacting them. James did an excellent job, very professional and my dog liked him. He provided before and after photos and I have a 4 yr warranty.  I trust him and was happy with every aspect of the service. I would highly recommend James and MSW as a company for roofing (and they do house painting too).

My experience with Curtis-C Roofing was equal parts pleased and pissed. They contacted me after finding them at a local home show several weeks after attending. Was able to arrange a consultation for a free price quote that was measurably higher than expected but with construction costs on the rise, accepted that as the cost of doing business. After several emails back and forth between Dave - the general manager and myself ,an early morning appointment - 5AM due to the heat - was arranged for their installer Mario to come out and install a $1240 solar tube. Mario was an HOUR and a HALF late! At 5:15am I called Dave (got voice mail). Sent a text massage next. I called the office but of course, no one in at that hour. I finally received an EMAIL from Dave around 6:30am saying only He is still coming. Sorry for the delay. shortly after that Mario arrived with no idea that he was suppose to be there 90 minutes earlier!! Apparently communication is not this companies strong suit. My anger is rooted in the fact that had I known and planned for a 6:30am arrival - I could have showered and dressed for work prior to Mario's arrival but due to the lack of communication - I missed a half day of work. None of this seems significant to Curtis-C Roofing as they decided NOT to compensate me for any of the time, trouble and frustration. I now have a remarkably light filled kitchen due to the expertly installed solar tube but the lack of COURTESY from Curtis-C has left a bad taste in my mouth.

German roofing replaced our underlayment in May.  The crew arrived every morning at 7am to begin work.  They had a trailer to put the debris in and hauled it away every afternoon.  I appreciated it was not parked in our driveway for an extended period of time.   They cleaned up all the nails and debris before they left every afternoon.  We have had multiple rains since replacing the underlayment and our home has remained dry.  I appreciated the crews  cleanliness and respect of our property.  I appreciated the quick response via email whenever I had questions.

I found G's Hone Services on Yelp, requested a quote, he got back to me within 20mins of my request & quoted me a fair price. I hired him for the job & he nailed it. Great service, great work, I highly recommend.

They will leave extra tiles in your backyard and come review your roof once a year after they re-lay the underlay on your tiled roof if you call them, so don't be shocked at the tiles like I was that were left.  I had to call and Alan explained all.
Before my roof was fixed I was hearing cracking and popping on my roof all the time, and it was getting worse and worse.  Once they came and redid the underlay--no more sounds at all.

This company came through as advertised and a business that keeps their word and keeps the customers 1st. Is one that deserves praise. Bravo! I'm a believer
