This is strictly a review of a price quote request. I will keep it brief...Contacted Abraham and requested a quote for some concrete work. He contacted me and setup an appointment. He came to the house and took all the measurements and has gone awol since then. He never provided a quote nor respond to my follow up communication. This is a display of business immaturity and irresponsibility. A simple not interested.. or My schedule is full.. would have been sufficient, but to completely ignore a potential client is bad business. They say you have only one chance to make a first impression...it was a bad one. Based on this limited interaction with Abraham's fence, I cannot recommend him...red flags very early in the process.

The guys from AZ concrete works are just finishing up a project in our backyard.  We can't recommend them highly enough.  The finished concrete piece looks amazing!  Far more sculpture than giant planter, just what we wanted to make a contemporary statement in our yard,  
They worked incredibly hard and their attention to detail was amazing.  They obviously take great pride in their work and it shows.  
If you need a reliable and hardworking team who know their stuff, these are your guys!  Thank you AZ concrete, we will certainly recommend you to all our friends, you were awesome!

I saw the reviews on JM Concrete before I called them. Jordy came out, priced the job, very fair price and finished with no issues. We decided to install a new patio and same thing, came out, gave us a fair price and did a great job! We will definately use them again for our next big project! Thanks Jordy!

We didn't have a big project, but Dave and his team treated us like we did.  They were communicative, on time, honest, reliable, and reasonably priced.

Colorworks saved our Lawn to Garden project, transforming a water-thirsty lawn and overgrown beds in the front and side yard to a drought-tolerant work of art!  We can't say enough about the Colorwork team's professionalism, work ethic, integrity and clear and timely communication and customer support.  From the owner, Jon, and estimator Armando, to on-the-job supervisors Luis and Jake, and hard-working demo/install workers Victor and Sergio, everyone we dealt with exceeded our expectations.  

We had interviewed a dozen contractors before meeting the Colorworks team, and had almost given up hope of finding landscapers able to meet our timeline, provide a detailed bid in a timely fashion, respond promptly to emails/texts, and follow the landscape design to it's letter.

We are so happy we did not 'settle' for a company we did not feel was right for the job, and that Colorworks was able to work our project into their busy schedule!

Colorworks meet the requirements of our city's Smart Irrigation Program and provided a detailed list of our irrigation installation, selected only the highest quality plants from the nursery, used top-quality decompsed granite and stabilizer, used great care to be sure plants were placed accurately and to maximize successful future plant health.  

Their supervisors worked with us on the daily schedule, and the team arrived promptly each morning at 7am and worked almost without stopping, except for lunch and supplies, each day.

On our end, we had done quite a bit of research prior to this project.  One of the most helpful tips from neighbors was to start with a great design and then a licensed contractor with a proven track record who could dedicate a team to see the project thru from start to finish.

Andy DeYoung, the landscape designer we used, was also highly respected by Colorworks,  and they were faithful to his vision.  

Hands-on oversight and on-site supervision by the owner and his supervisors was impressive, especially given the number of projects the company manages.

Lastly, a shout-out to Colorworks' office staff, who worked so well and so personally with us!

I used to deal with Manny who was a co-owner and Brother of Miguel, another co-owner. Manny left the business and I started to deal with Miguel. I won't work with this business after interacting with Miguel. While Manny was trustworthy specially that I am in San Diego and did remote work with him while he is at Phoenix, I did not feel the trust working with his brother Miguel. who was quick to dip into my pockets for landscaping job and got super irritated when asked about his prices. Despite doing so much work with them he told me if you don't like my prices leave, and this is poor customer service for someone who spend a lot of work and jobs with them.

For that particular job that caused the relationship to deteriorate, it was my first ever interaction with Miguel about irrigation not working at a house. He called me to tell me all valves are bad like four in the front and 3 in the rear, timer is bad, there is probably a broken pipe and he asked for over $1200 for the valves alone valves while he finds a timer and quote me a price. He told me this won't guarantee things to work as we will dig deep etc... as he thinks there is a broken pipe. I was surprised that everything went bad out of a sudden and I found his prices not reasonable too considering the parts are cheap per Home Depot.

To make story short, I hired another professional and he replaced two valves, a broken pipe for $266 and all is fine.

The conclusion is either Miguel is incompetent at the job or basically he wanted to dip deep into my pockets to take advantage of me being remote.

Very nasty

I lived in my house for 15 years and decided it was time to update the front yard. A neighbor and friend had recently used Green Valley to update her front yard and she recommended them.

Cristo was on time to meet me at my house for the estimate. I told him some of my ideas and he gave me great suggestions. He was prompt to send me the written estimate. I also decided to add pavers to the backyard as well.

After I agreed to have the work started, Cristo and his crew showed up on the day promised and promptly started the work.  They kept me in the loop the entire time and kept the worksite clean and organized.

I was so happy during the construction phase I added some more items like additional pavers, gravel and landscape lights. This change was not an issue and they were able accommodate the request in the original time promised.

I absolutely could not be more happy with the final result.  They exceeded my expectations and the price on the estimate was the price I paid. My friend and neighbors love the improvements made.

I am planning on using Green Valley for the rest of my backyard this spring.

I contacted Mr. Ramos after he was referred to me by another contractor that performed drywall repairs on my home. I mentioned that In needed my old driveway demo'ed and repoured and he said that he just had Ramos Concrete and Landscaping complete a much larger job for him a few weeks ago.

I called Mr Ramos and he was able to schedule an appointment to meet me at my home a few days later. I had already received about 3 quotes from other concrete companies and they were all fairly comparable.

Mr. Ramos came out (on time), measured my drivewway and told me exactly what would be done. He also explained how long the process would take, when I could walk on it, when it would be safe to drive on etc. His quote was also several hundred dollars less than some of the other contractors.

Knowing that he had done quality work for someone else, I went ahead and scheduled the work through Ramos Concrete and Landscaping. I paid the deposit (50%) and he arrived a few days later, on time to complete the demolition. After the demo and haul away was complete, the driveway was repoured. I couldn't believe how amazing the new driveway looked!

It's been a few weeks since the work has been completed and I have had Mr. Ramos come back to my home for a few other landscaping projects ( fill holes, repair sprinklers, lawn maintenance) and I will definitely be referring him to clients in the future.

CSI is the best contractor we've worked with. On time, on budget and great communicators.  The project turned out great and I couldn't be happier.  Highly recommended .

Ron added a walkway on the side of my house and it turned out great!  He was on time, cleaned up after and left my yard in excellent shape.  I would highly recommend him.

Robert from Paseo Hardscapes did a great job! My son had backed up and hit our neighbor's block wall, knocking several bricks out. Robert came out, quoted a reasonable price and worked with our neighbor's schedule to get work completed. Unfortunately the block wall is old and that size block is no longer made but he used a similar block along the bottom. He then used the reusable non-broken blocks on top. My neighbor and I were both pleased with the work. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for block wall work to be completed.

Rob came out and replaced a section of block wall that was unsafe due to a vehicle accident.  He provided us an estimate and was very patient as we had to wait for the insurance company to accept the estimate and payment. It was worth the wait as Rob was able to match the block and the wall looks like the original. We are very pleased with the outcome and would use them again for block work if needed. Thanks!

Frank sent a crew out to our house to clear out a bunch of gravel and rock with dog poop and trash in it.... they cleared everything quick, graded the ground, cleaned everything up in a few hours! I tipped the guys extra because they worked their butts off to get it done quick even though it was about 6:00pm.
Reasonable prices too.

I just called for another job, as we remodel our yard more trash and debris come up, so we called Frank to come haul it out. Super easy to get a hold of him through Yelp. He answered right away.

Adis did a great job leveling / smoothing out a concrete floor and in so doing fixing some sloppy/bad work by the previous contractor.  Thanks!

We are putting in a pool and needed to add a 30' section of block fence and a gate. After posting it on Yelp, Eric responded within minutes with a very reasonable bid. He was able to start the job within a few days and completed the fence portion in one day. A beautiful gate (custom) was installed two days later, as promised. He and his team were very professional and easy to work with, including when we had to make a last minute change to the height of the fence. I would definitely recommend Apaez Pro's!

Naji and his crew were wonderful. They showed up on time and worked really hard to get our pavers and leveling done. Naji provided updates daily on how it was going and asked questions throughout the project. They were the first company/contractor we've had no issues dealing with. I would recommend them for any paver work needed.  When we complete our next project, we will be contacting them.

I wo update never use this as they had my contact information. They never took the professional courtesy  to. call come out to my home for a estimate on my Retainer wall. Very disappointed that they blew me off.
