How in the WORLD does iCrown homes have such a high yelp rating? Unfortunately, I found them on Yelp and despite a great initial meeting and quote from Gary (an owner?), things quickly fell completely apart after that. Bottom line: THEIR WORK IS ABSOLUTE GARBAGE.

I know how to do baseboards. However, it was important to me to pay someone to do it and do it perfectly, rather than my messing it up and making it look like only a fairly skilled DIYer did it. Unfortunately, I could have easily done a better job than Dana and his crew of 1 person who is allergic to cats and worried about his wife so that's why he didn't do a great job. Seriously, that is a quote. One, I have a cat. That's not a surprise. I don't care if you decided to staff my $2000 job with someone who is allergic. Two, someone wanting to spend time with their wife instead of on the job that I confirmed TWICE (but you no-showed for a measuring appointment, pushing it all back weeks) that is completely irrelevant to me. And, if you are so worried about something else, maybe you should get out of my house and let me hire a professional instead of slapping on paint and caulking with absolute reckless abandon. There were random nails all over my house, and their dirty with paint on it towel? On my light colored couch. Seriously, so professional.

When I questioned the worker on what, this is done? no, it looks terrible... and then I texted Gary (my initial contact), I received ZERO response. Multiple texts, attempted calls. ZERO RESPONSE. He sold the job and then didn't GAF.

Because of Gary/Dana and iCrown Homes, I had to buy paint (my cost), tape (my cost), more caulking (my cost), and paint two entire rooms (I'm disabled - thanks jerks) because I do not have matching paint for those rooms. Dana actually said to me he'd just slope some of the absolute wreck of a job of caulking that was almost an entire INCH above where it should have been since you don't have any touch-up paint?! Really?? Oh well, I guess this is what I'll do then... No, I don't have any touch-up paint. That's why I hired what I *thought* was a professional to do a professional job.

Dana also cleaned up his paintbrushes and caulk in my brand new bathroom sink. As he was leaving I asked him nicely to please cleanit up. He did...sort of...did a 5-year-old style job of cleaning it up, including using my expensive gray (not anymore!) towels.  I am STILL finding little bits of paint and caulk to clean up all around the BRAND NEW (not anymore!) sink, bathroom, walls, floors, and so on.

More lies: per their website, No Deposits - You don't pay a dime until the job is complete. You can have peace of mind knowing that you don't need to hand over any amount of money until the job is complete. We wouldn't want to do that either. (exclusions apply on some special order materials) - they would not start work until I paid 50%. God do I wish I could take that back.

tl; dr: extremely EXTREMELY terrible work, unprofessional (no call no showed one appointment), took 4x as long since they had to come back and attempt to fix the disastrous work I did. It came with an attitude. AVOID AVOID AVOID

See pics of the initially completed work yeah that looks good to me, maybe you're being a perfectionist and then 2 entire days of clumsy fixes that still look like crap.

First, let me say that he came out and did an estimate right away and seemed incredibly knowledgeable. I was so excited to hire this company to remodel the kitchen in my mother-in-law suite. Unfortunately it took two weeks to get the initial estimate rather than getting it by the end of that first week as he had stated. Then the estimate was missing some major components... The install of a gas stove and stainless hood (and that's really a BIG part of this project).
When I emailed him about this, a week later I still had not heard back with an updated estimate so I emailed him yet again and left a voicemail. His response was that he thought the vendor would install yet he and I had very clearly discussed that Dynamite would do the installation. Bottom line is that he added another $250 to the estimate and still didn't give me any info on his availability (which I asked for a few different times). As much as I would love to hire this company because I really genuinely think he knows what he's talking about and the price is reasonable, I think he is just far too busy and may not do a good job on my project because he didn't care enough to get me the estimate when he said he would, missed major components on the estimate, didn't  respond to my email for over a week, and he also didn't  answer his phone or return my call. I know my project might not be as big or important as his other projects, but it is very important to me and I would have been happy to schedule this several months out if needed. I just want a company that I can count on to pay attention to detail and communicate in a timely manner. Very disappointed this didn't work out.

I have nothing but good things to say about Rodriguez Remodeling. Even after I inconvenienced them with my work schedule they still treated me and my home with respect. They are expert contractors and I give them 5 stars. Honestly they deserve 10.

Had a busted pipe in between my bathrooms right after Thanksgiving 2022 which was a disaster to get back home to. After water damage repairs I had a few different contractors quote for repairs. Mario was quick to respond and eager to get started even though the insurance haven't gave me funds yet. We went over the job in detail and what would need to be done along with materials. He helped pick up items that were needed from flooring stores or Lowe's without an issue and completed the job within 2 weeks time. Very happy with his work ethic and attitude so I would recommend Navas Remodeling.

I hired Sonoran Peak to renovate my kitchen and turn the living room/dining room into a home theater. The work included cutting through the slab to move a gas line and downdraft vent, removing a sliding glass door to widen a header and install French doors, adding a wall to enclose the home theater, building soffits, adding 3 dedicated 20 amp circuits in the theater and a 220V line in the garage and reinforcing the ceiling to hold the projector, among other things. I also added an HVAC vent in the theater and two more returns.  Some of the planning was done by an acoustician and required a lot of precision and attention to detail as well as some unusual methods and materials.

Sonoran Peak did a great job and worked closely with me to get just the result I was looking for. They have a solid knowledge of structural as well as fine carpentry, were neat and clean and showed up on time every day. The company principals were there a few times a week making sure everything was going according to plan. Very happy with the work.

Affinity Kitchens is an amazing business led by the most professional designers and craftsmen in Phoenix.  We have enjoyed buying two fully-integrated kitchen cabinetry packages from Affinity and we wake up every morning loving our kitchen just like the first day it was installed!

Another great job by Andy.  My partner and I had to find a quick solution for enclosing a couple of exterior water heaters at my ancient property downtown.  It was affecting our ability to run the units for hot water and cooking.  Andy proposed a couple options and costs via text, came out a couple weeks earlier than his busy schedule would have otherwise permitted, reevaluated the proposed enclosures onsite, then provided refined recommendations.  It was all completed within a few days of contact.  Very pleased with the promptness, workmanship, and look.  Will rehire Old Reliable in the future.

Hired Juan to remodel the bathroom on my historic home, he was able to start the job well ahead of the estimates from other contractors and at a very reasonable price.
G&C met several challenges and, in the end, completely transformed the bathroom with superior craftsmanship. I am very happy with the result and will likely contact G&C for my next project.

From the moment I received a response till after our job was completed we were very happy with White Builder.  We needed our kitchen island to no longer include overhang. We needed it to be about a foot less than it was when house was built.

Not only did White Builder take care of this is short period of time they also found exact match of granite. They arrived on time, completed the island change, and made sure to clean up.  Later the same day the plumber came and installed new faucet. We are so glad we chose White Builder and will reach out if we have other work.

I loved working with Sam and Pelleco Home Design! I received several estimates for new kitchen countertops before finding Pelleco and Pelleco not only had the best rates, but they had awesome customer service. Sam also helped me with every step of the remodeling process and connected me with trustworthy individuals to complete my remodel. My kitchen looks great with the Quartz I bought from Pelleco and I could not be happier. Make sure you check this place out!

Extremely rude and unprofessional. We had a very negative interaction thats quite contrary to the other reviews here. We thought highly of the five star reviews but I think they let their true colors show ...

I found Skill Set through Nextdoor. I had Skill Set replace load bearing patio posts that were termite damaged and warping. Robert came over to give me a quote and was very professional and knowledgeable. He even pointed out a flood light that wasn't to code (and he fixed it during the repair!). He was able to work around my busy schedule to get the job done. I was very impressed with his crew's work, they were very clean during the whole process. I plan on using them again in the future for more house projects!

So far I have loved working with Ericka and Rosie of Spicegirl Remodeling and Design. They finished my roof in a few days and the team that did it was informative and paid a lot of attention to detail. This was especially important to me as I am about to install a large solar array. I liked working with them so much that I contracted them to remodel my master bathroom.

They also installed door vents and new matching accedes to my attic on both sides of my house so that is could do other efficiency work. (Duct repair, sealing the roof, sealing can lighting, blowing in another 18 inches of insulation)

I will be updating my review with photos and a description when the bathroom is finished.

I'd recommend them to anyone.

Our home was damaged by a water heater leak. The owner of Nor'easter determined early on that we were a small job. We learned later that what he meant was that we were low priority. Several weeks later (he admitted that the job took longer then it should have) we have a home repair job that ran well into 5 figures that seems to have been done properly and looks nice.

Communication is definitely not the strong suit of this contractor. And anytime that we the consumer are positioned between a contractor and an insurance company you can rest assured that the process will be confusing. I still don't have the numbers sorted out!

My wife and I went to the showroom on 75th Ave and Bell.  The young lady there answered our questions and set us up with an appointment for someone to come to our home to give us a quote to replace our shower (shower-shower as it's called).  The 'Design Consultant' came to our home on the scheduled day.  She was professional, respectful, not pushy, and was very helpful.  She turned the iPad around and showed us the cost for the job and it was OUTRAGEOUS.  I guess she could tell by the look on our faces that it was to high.  She then proceeded to give us some 'discounts', military service, employee discount, etc....it was still to high.  We started cutting back on our design and FINALLY got it down to a reasonable price.  We all agreed on our design and she told us she would send us the 'quote' later.  Well, that in-house consultation was on Saturday.  By Monday we had still not gotten the quote that was promised, so I sent her an email early Monday morning.  Wednesday arrives and still NO response from the consultant.  So, I called her cell number and left a message.  Hours later we get called back and again, she tells us she will get us the quote by the end of the day (Wednesday).  It's Thursday morning and we still have nothing.  This is NOT a good 1st impression.  Do NOT promise me something and then not deliver.  At the bare minimum communicate to me why you can't give us the quote, COMMUNICATE.  My wife and I have agreed to give this design consultant 1 more chance to give us the quote.  If she can't deliver when SHE tells us she will deliver, then in our opinion that will be strike 3 and we will take our business elsewhere.  This is a pathetic way to start a relationship!!  Fix it Re-Bath!

Horrible horrible deceitful company I would never do business with again. They replace my roof it doesn't last more than one storm and now created more damage to my house they only did a fraction of what the insurance company paid them to do they claim they have a 10 year roofing warranty but it didn't even last one storm and they would not even fix the issue the insurance company paid them over $10,000 with my deductible and not even a 10th of the work that was paid for was done and the work that was done was shoddy at bestThey are not accredited from the Better Business Bureau because I tried to make a claim and they didn't respond adequately they just said that they wanted to finish the work not make amends or do right by the customer. Do not sign the form that lets them negotiate with the insurance company directly it will burn you in the end.
