Usually when you use a company that charges a lot, you get excellent customer service which includes a willingness to make things right when there is a dispute.

This was not my experience with Goodroad who, after adjusting watering times on my drip system clock, refused to accept that the reason all my plants died was because they had programmed the timer incorrectly. Robbie continued to push back even after I demonstrated to her that the unit was functioning fine but had faulty programming. She blamed dust storms, power outages, timer firmware, and even my reluctance to change the backup battery several times a year. Computers do funny things she told me. Yeah, I'm a tech geek - you're not going to pull that one over on me. Eventually she reluctantly claimed to take responsibility for the error and agreed to replace the dead plants which were barely a month old.

The low point to this fiasco was when I saw her at Sprinkler World (she didn't see me) and overheard her talking trash about me and the dead plant situation. She suggested to the staff that I had somehow altered the programming in the timer after she left in order to get her to have to replace $300 worth of plants. Right - I'd lie to get her to replace perfectly good plants because that somehow benefits me. Coincidentally, my bill was $300 above average the month that she agreed to replace the plants for free. There hasn't been a problem with the timer since all this happened.

With a remodel underway and a new baby coming in January I haven't made the time to replace Goodroad, but I plan to. It's too bad - she has a knack for putting together a great looking yard.

Robbie is very creative, but you pay top dollar for it and you don't get professionalism if you end up in a dispute. Nothing is ever her fault, even when it plainly is.

Fixed our broken sprinkler system for us. Would definitely recommend! Very reliable and quick to respond.

Mike got back to me right away, stopped by quickly for a quote and the crew showed up right on time and did a great job. Can't ask for much more.

Wonderful service, fast replies. Will definitely contract again. I asked for gravel service and they were so quick to get the job done. My front yard looks amazing.

Jonathan is amazing! He came out same day to look at work and within a couple days we're back and did an amazing job! Was only thinking about doing a clean up but because of his service I'm hiring him monthly!

Bennett Landscaping seems to really stick out in an area with tons of fly by night landscaping companies. It seems to be a small family business with great customer service and reasonable pricing. The guys put  a lot of time and effort into fixing up my yard, way more than I expected. It really looks nice and they seem to be one of those rare businesses that truly take pride in their work.

I emailed lone star and set an appointment for estimate of complete landscape job.  I was told they were very busy ,but I agreed to wait! Chris came to my home we talked and I was told I would receive estimate in a few days. Never heard from them and it's been now a month! I emailed yesterday and was told that gal I set appointment with was gone and she would try and have Chris get back to me in few more days!! Not sure what is going on!!!! But so tired of poor communication by contractors!!!! Get it together Chris!!!!!!!

Never showed for the first scheduled maintenance. Quoted $75 each for two houses (mine and neighbor). Scheduled 2 weeks out.  I texted the night before and called the day of to confirm. Confirmed with a very unenthusiastic person. Waited all day, no time window was provided. No show.

We recently had our backyard landscaping done by Yavapai Landscaping.  Simply Awesome!! ... We could NOT be more pleased.  It came out even better than we had anticipated.  Ted Ferris provided outstanding guidance and suggestions throughout the process.  Yavapai did all of the coordination to obtain HOA approval for the design.  Made it so easy.

After our initial plan had been worked in the backyard, we were so satisfied, that we decided to include some add-ons in the front yard.  We have to say that Ted Ferris' crew, led by Hugo, is the hardest working landscaping crew that we have ever seen ... working sunrise to sunset.  Dustin was exceptional in coordinating the gas line upgrade work (with UniSource and also City inspectors), plus handling a few other project tasks.

Several of our neighbors were so impressed with Yavapai Landscaping's work that they also chose Yavapai Landscaping.  If you are in the market for any landscaping project, we highly recommend Yavapai.  In our experience, it gets NO better!!

I needed one 11' palm tree trimmed to appease my hoa. I found him on the next door app.  After receiving quotes for $430.00 I went with them as they were under $100.00. They also cleaned up afterwards. They were very efficient and I will be using them again.

These guys did a great job. Pavers, irrigation and sod.  These pictures were taken 2 weeks after they finished. We had a minor issue, contacted the owner, and it was fixed the next day.

They are priced very well and we feel we got more than we paid for.

My mom who is elderly can't go out and water as she used to she called and they came out to inspect the sprinkler system she paid them what they asked for, the sprinkler to date has not come on she called them to come back out and recheck it and they haven't returned

They are thieves, they will steal your money.  They ask for money up front and then do not return to do the work.  They created another Yelp account, Illuminated Waters which is the new account they are using to steal money.  Be Aware!!!
