Usually when you use a company that charges a lot, you get excellent customer service which includes a willingness to make things right when there is a dispute.

This was not my experience with Goodroad who, after adjusting watering times on my drip system clock, refused to accept that the reason all my plants died was because they had programmed the timer incorrectly. Robbie continued to push back even after I demonstrated to her that the unit was functioning fine but had faulty programming. She blamed dust storms, power outages, timer firmware, and even my reluctance to change the backup battery several times a year. Computers do funny things she told me. Yeah, I'm a tech geek - you're not going to pull that one over on me. Eventually she reluctantly claimed to take responsibility for the error and agreed to replace the dead plants which were barely a month old.

The low point to this fiasco was when I saw her at Sprinkler World (she didn't see me) and overheard her talking trash about me and the dead plant situation. She suggested to the staff that I had somehow altered the programming in the timer after she left in order to get her to have to replace $300 worth of plants. Right - I'd lie to get her to replace perfectly good plants because that somehow benefits me. Coincidentally, my bill was $300 above average the month that she agreed to replace the plants for free. There hasn't been a problem with the timer since all this happened.

With a remodel underway and a new baby coming in January I haven't made the time to replace Goodroad, but I plan to. It's too bad - she has a knack for putting together a great looking yard.

Robbie is very creative, but you pay top dollar for it and you don't get professionalism if you end up in a dispute. Nothing is ever her fault, even when it plainly is.

I love my new boulders in the front yard.  I will be calling him again when it is time to go to the back.

We had curbing installed in our backyard last fall and they did a great job. When we decided to had a sidewalk installed from the backyard to the front we called them and the work was completed quickly and I have to say we love it!! I would recommend them for any concrete projects .

Wonderful service, fast replies. Will definitely contract again. I asked for gravel service and they were so quick to get the job done. My front yard looks amazing.

This company is awesome! You can definitely tell when people care about their work and I was so lucky to find them! They have been incredibly responsive, helpful and the work that they did was thorough and precise! It's always fantastic when you can find a company with good, genuine people that make you want to use them again and again. I have signed up for regular service with this company and I am confident I dont have to worry about a thing with them!

Bennett Landscaping seems to really stick out in an area with tons of fly by night landscaping companies. It seems to be a small family business with great customer service and reasonable pricing. The guys put  a lot of time and effort into fixing up my yard, way more than I expected. It really looks nice and they seem to be one of those rare businesses that truly take pride in their work.

My neighbor had some landscaping work done - I am sure it turned out great. Unfortunately, they used a portion of my yard to run their wheelbarrows through when carrying stone and landscape rock which lead to a rut in the landscaping rock. They also usually parked their truck in front of my house so the sand used wound up in the front of my house. As mentioned in other reviews, this company doesn't clean up after itself. If you use them, make sure they don't leave a mess.

Tyler did a fantastic job trimming down our trees and replacing our dead plants. He was professional and worked quickly. The price was fair and his response time was impressive. Wish I could give more stars!!!

This company answered their phone on a Sunday morning and provided emergency snow removal service for us within hours! Who does that? It had snowed over six inches overnight, and we were snowed in exactly when we had important business, which could not wait, elsewhere. We  live off of a private road in Prescott, which is not maintained by the county or city, in the woods. There is a nine degree grade on the road coming down to our driveway, with steep drop offs, and another one in the driveway itself.  Yavapai Landscaping understood the urgency we had to get on the road that morning. They risked their safety to be sure that we could get out!

Miguel did great work at first, he was with me for three months. Maintaining my business landscaping, and doing great work. I pay him $140 a visit, and according to my cameras his crew is on site never longer than 24 minutes. That equates to $350 per hour, a hefty price but well worth it in my opinion, for great work.

However in my most recent experience I found not only has his work changed, he personally has become very rude. After this service I found that there were hundreds of grass blades and weeds coming through the desert landscape that had not been handled during their service. I reached out to Miguel via text and asked that he send his crew out again to address the grass/weeds. He quickly called to tell me that he sprayed them himself so he knows they were already handled. I asked, shouldn't they be turning color and dying 5 days later, he said Yes the spray must not have worked and that he's not sure why. He agreed to come back out and respray.
The next morning I receive an angry text that says This is the first and the last time I will be doing this I spray this morning and the little rain we got this morning wash out the product tomorrow I will stop by again tomorrow and spray next time I will charge you for doing this.

I decided to call Miguel since text can lead to misunderstandings, and angry words. Miguel answered very rudely, treating me like I had done something wrong, not like I was his client! He was talking over me, and told me it was not his fault that the product didn't work, and that he doesn't need customers acting like BLEEPS... Gasp, I ended the call with saying that it's time to cease our relationship goodbye.

I am not sure what has happened to Miguel Espinosa and his landscaping and Irrigation Business, however I do know this, Poor, Rude behavior, accompanied by attacking and name calling a client who never has called you and complained, Zelle's you money every time without question... in a Service industry this is unacceptable behavior that leads to failure. I hope you get things figured out sooner rather than later. Your'e Fired!

Outstanding job!  The front yard of our newly purchased, but old, house needed  a serious makeover, and these guys came to the rescue. Gariel showed up within hours of requesting a quote, gave a competitive estimate, and was able to start 2 days later!  The worked sunrise to sunset and  knocked out the whole project (including a brick pavers courtyard, wall, and synthetic grass) in a week and a half. They were honest, hard-working, and trustworthy.  Gariel really went above and beyond and we get so many compliments on our landscaping now. Highly recommend these guys!!

In AZ tradition during a monsoon my Palo Verde tree fell down & went boom. Knowing my HOA will have a cow I was anxious to get the tree taken away ASAP. I was hoping within the week. After getting 3 quotes, 1 over the phone & 1 via internet. Medinas was the only service that drove to my home & gave me a quote same day. Medinas also had an opening same day. I was beyond thrilled. Took less than an hour & went above & beyond with the clean up. They even blew the needles out of my yard, cleaned up their saw dust & blew my drive way clean. Couldn't be happier. I will use this company going forward for all of my landscaping needs & would recommend to anyone.

This company stole money after we hired them to install pavers and pool coping. Project materials were claimed to be in inventory but were not. This resulted in an out of scope project timeline. At the start of the project, they left the site in a messy demolished state for weeks before partially installing pavers. Materials were stockpiled in the street for too long resulting in a city violation to us, the site owners. They installed grading improperly so that our existing pool gates would not open. Our wooden access fence to the backyard was broken during their work.

After too many delays and responses of we will be there tomorrow and no crew or material showing up, we requested a refund and termination of the project. Three large contracting companies came to provide quotes to fix their mess and complete the project and said their work was installed incorrectly with grading going directly into our pool.

This contractor offered a partial refund due to out of scope timeline and unavailable materials. Now they will not respond to any form of communication after supposedly mailing a refund check 12 business days ago. We keep trying to contact them by phone, text, email, and all social network messaging options. They refuse to answer or reply to confirm the address the check was supposedly mailed to. We offered to meet them somewhere to pick up the refund personally. No response. They even took an additional $1,000 for upgraded travertine pool coping that was never delivered.

I have submitted a complaint to the AZ ROC and would file for a civil suit, but the amount of money we gave them is over the small claims court limit.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! SHAMEFUL BUSINESS PRACTICES AND HORRIBLE COMMUNICATION!!!
