Best Deck & Railing Contractors in Phoenix, AZ

We had a complicated situation.  They came in and easily solved it for an affordable price.  Looks amazing. Our patio pillars were sinking due to wood rot underneath.  They raised the roof above, replaced the wood, reinforced the floor, fixed the tile afterwards.  They made a hard job look easy.  I highly recommend them!

We contacted Vlad with interest in doing o complete interior remodeling of our $
2750 sq ft home. He was quick to meet with us and to to submit a lack luster proposal. We received some CAD drawings which were inconclusive.

Vlad gave us a start date. We proceeded to provide him with decor features and material selections to be included. The response time continued to drag out. With Vlad's suggestion we signed a temporary lease agreement for 5 weeks so as to be out of his way. Last week, before executing lease agreement I received verbal agreement from Vlad that we should proceed.

Now, one week before start date, Vlad pulls out of the project! We are on the hook for lease, packing materials and laborers.  Not to mention at least 30 days of lost project time.

BEWARE AND FOR WARNED.

We got a portion of our stairs redone through One stop wood works. Daniel and Israel would show up on time daily, make sure our furnitures were protected/covered and go about getting things done with quiet focus. Also, they cleaned up behind themselves when they wrapped up finally. Most important of all, very happy with the outcome of their work.
We have a couple of more projects in mind and look forward to bringing them onboard to execute our plans.

My wife and I decided it was time to have our pool deck resurfaced, (approximately 600 sq ft deck), so we solicited bids from 5 different local companies, including the  pool manufacturer who originally installed the pool in 1979. (See my separate review for that  company). From moment we first contacted Daniel Baeza with Copper Sky Concrete, he was completely attentive and engaged with us as we outlined the project work scope.

Of the 5 bids, three of them were very competitive, as they were literally within dollars of each other, had similar timeframes on the project completion time, and all offered a 2 year warranty on the pool deck resurface. But my wife and I both agreed that we should go with Copper Sky for the job.

Daniel was very attentive to my follow up questions, as I contacted him several times during the selection process, as well as in preparation for the commencement, starting, during, and after completion of the project. I can't say enough about his genuine consideration and professionalism that he displayed to us.

The work was started exactly on time, and was actually completed a day ahead of schedule. (We were told 3-4 days and the work was actually completed in 2 days, with the crew returning on the morning of the 3rd day to remove the protective cover from the pool and clean-up the entire work area).

The quality of the pool deck resurfacing was all that we could have asked for, and we are very pleased with the product. I would highly recommend Daniel Baeza and Copper Sky Concrete for your pool deck resurfacing project, or any other project that this company contracts to do for you. Tony and his crew did a beautiful job of remodeling my pool. The work was done quickly and professionally. Any concerns I had were quickly taken care of. I got six estimates, all from licensed, bonded, reputable companies. Budget was by far the least expensive. Budget also has an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau. Give Tony a call, you won't regret it.

Had United Paint and Stain stain the entire exterior of our home in Truckee.  They did an amazing job.  Rob was a pleasure to work with - very flexible and accommodating.  They finished staining the entire house, including the deck, stairs, and railing, in under 3 days.  I couldn't be more pleased with the job and will use them again in a heartbeat.   And on top of it all, they were very affordable.  I can see why they have a 5 star rating on Yelp

Jason and his team delivered a great product.  We did a full front and back yard landscape job from scratch, so there were many elements.  Hardscape, Planting, Turf, Sports areas, Pavers, Structures, Misting all turned out fantastic.  Jason was on top of ordering and getting jobs completed even with extreme supply and labor shortages.  Would absolutely recommed and work with Flowing Wells again.

We had a roof leak into a very small space behind our water heater. There was small water damage and a bit of mold. Other companies quoted us $1700-2700 because they wanted to remove the water heater. Elias was able to do it for a third of the price without removing the water heater! He was a great contractor to work with- let me know when he was on the way and was very understanding of our wanting to keep costs down. He did a great repair job and we plan to ask him to help us with other projects in the house. Thanks Elias!

Travis and Lisa painted our home exterior and also did some interior painting. They were fast, reliable, detailed, and very reasonably priced. Good, honest people with a great work ethic. I'd recommend them without hestitation.

Refinishing a pool is a daunting and expensive process that few homeowners look forward to. After owning the home for 4 years, I learned that a build flaw with a popular defective bond beam rounded edge style that our pool was installed with never should have been used in the first place as chunks of pebbletec and large cracks started to appear. Based on the cost estimates I saw online, I spent a month interviewing pool companies and collecting quotes (accidentally became a mini expert in all things refinishing in the process!) and after 5 different company visits, I chose Shane and Cool Blue Pools. His communication, professionalism, pricing and quality far exceeded our expectations and we're thrilled to have a brand new looking pool. He finished ahead of schedule, coordinated with my existing pool cleaning crew throughout the process and we couldn't be happier with the experience or the outcome. I'd highly recommend Cool Blue Pools for any pool resurface/refinish project, especially if you've been blessed with rolled bond beam!

She came by for an estimate. Was friendly and took measurements and said she would get back to us the following Wednesday with the bid. Never followed up with us with an estimate.

We have had Randy as a pool guy for five years.  Being first time pool owners, we were apprehensive about how to take care of our pool.  We contacted Randy and he has taken care of our pool since the beginning.  He is always willing to show me how to operate different features with our system.  He has always been quick to respond to phone calls or text messages.  Very dependable and good communicator.

I was ready to contract for my carport, but Steve made 2 different appointments to clarify details and was a no-show/no call both times.   One time- I gave him the benefit of the doubt.  Second time-  this is just bad business.  I called Royal Covers and they were almost $2000 less, and 100% professional.  Small, local businesses are my preference, but they must keep their word and be professional to be successful!  This Owner is neither.

The fact of the matter is that Steve did not communicate with me that he chose not to do the job.  He left me waiting for him to show up to an appointment he set TWICE.  I have no interest in trolling him, I'm just stating the facts.  In the end, I'm happy NOT to do business with Mayfield, and the professional company has no issue whatsoever with the layout or complexity of the job.  Just a matter of knowledge and experience.  

There won't be a 5 star rating for long if Mayfield continues this level of professionalIsm.
