Best Deck & Railing Contractors in Phoenix, AZ

Not sure how this company has any good reviews, because it is one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a Yelp referral and I gave it lots of time and even second chances.

I contacted this company over 3 weeks ago with a fairly substantial job. I tried several times to get a response and was ignored. Then after being ignored for a week and several attempted contacts, I left a poor review communicating that on Yelp and and magically right after I posted it, I received a call from Alfredo. He apologized and said he was not on his phone for days. Not sure what that even means. OK. Also, I had left multiple messages on Yelp which also were not responded to during that time. Guess that was down too.

However he finally contacted me so I removed the poor review and would give them a second chance. It took a while for Alfredo to finally come out to look at our job. Once he got here, he asked about the job and measured. Then as he left said he would get an estimate to me right away. A week went by and no follow up by Alfredo. I texted him a few times and he finally got back to me and then said I lost the measurements and asked me to re measure them and send to him over him coming out and doing it again. Unprofessional but I did it even though I am not a construction professional and thought it was odd for him to ask of that. I then texted him the measurements I took and waited for a reply that he even received them. Nothing for over a week. I texted again asking for a follow up and again nothing. A third time and again nothing. Guess that pesky cell phone was out of his hands again. Sorry, but that is it, I am done.

This company does not know how to run a business and communicate so I would be very careful in using them.

The job was done according to plan. Vlad explained everything to me before hand and did all that was promised. Great crew and very clean. I will use them again when needed.

Jeff is such a great southern gentleman. Really good and conscientious handyman. I truly, highly recommend him for any home repair you might have. Really, you'll be happy you read this.

Daniel and his brother just finished installing a new Black stair railing with horizontal stainless steel balusters.  It was done in 3 days.  If I could give them a 10 star review, I would.  They started the job by making sure that my Living and Dining room as well as Kitchen area were all covered in a wall of plastic so that nothing would get dirty.  The plastic went all the way to the ceiling, by the time the job was done, the rooms were still clean.  They are very professional and courteous.  We love the new staircase!   I will be using them again for sure!

As a Veteran myself I love to do business with other Veterans. Great customer service. I highly recommend VanDahl Homecare services to anyone in need of having a better quality of life again.

My wife and I decided it was time to have our pool deck resurfaced, (approximately 600 sq ft deck), so we solicited bids from 5 different local companies, including the  pool manufacturer who originally installed the pool in 1979. (See my separate review for that  company). From moment we first contacted Daniel Baeza with Copper Sky Concrete, he was completely attentive and engaged with us as we outlined the project work scope.

Of the 5 bids, three of them were very competitive, as they were literally within dollars of each other, had similar timeframes on the project completion time, and all offered a 2 year warranty on the pool deck resurface. But my wife and I both agreed that we should go with Copper Sky for the job.

Daniel was very attentive to my follow up questions, as I contacted him several times during the selection process, as well as in preparation for the commencement, starting, during, and after completion of the project. I can't say enough about his genuine consideration and professionalism that he displayed to us.

The work was started exactly on time, and was actually completed a day ahead of schedule. (We were told 3-4 days and the work was actually completed in 2 days, with the crew returning on the morning of the 3rd day to remove the protective cover from the pool and clean-up the entire work area).

The quality of the pool deck resurfacing was all that we could have asked for, and we are very pleased with the product. I would highly recommend Daniel Baeza and Copper Sky Concrete for your pool deck resurfacing project, or any other project that this company contracts to do for you. Tony and Rex were very responsive in getting to my house and giving me an estimate. The price came in very reasonable and included putting in Pebble Tec (not the brand but a similar product with sand and glass) , building the Baja deck and changing my tiles. The estimate was 2 weeks to deliver.
The tiles are Italian in aquamarine color and the pebble product I chose was sand 3.

Pros:
1) the team was very professional, friendly and did the service well. They left the area clean and did a good job.
2) the pool was delivered in two weeks as promised.
3) the pool looks beautiful and I am very happy with it.

Cons:
1) I never knew what time the men were coming. If I didn't work from home I could not have done this project as there was no scheduling whatsoever. There were days they came early, days they came late, days they did t come. there are different crews and one does not communicate with the other.
2) Tony is busy so he often does not respond to texts. I was trying to find out scheduling and if the men were Coming and at times couldn't get answers. If you call him he will always pick up tho.

So the communication part is the only reason I give him 4 stars. The results were great.

Robert at United did a great job with painting my cabin. He responded quickly with coming out to review my project and giving me a quote with timing of when the job could be complete. His quote was very reasonable and the final cost was exactly what he quoted. He finish the job on time and did excellent work.

Jason and his team delivered a great product.  We did a full front and back yard landscape job from scratch, so there were many elements.  Hardscape, Planting, Turf, Sports areas, Pavers, Structures, Misting all turned out fantastic.  Jason was on top of ordering and getting jobs completed even with extreme supply and labor shortages.  Would absolutely recommed and work with Flowing Wells again.

We had a roof leak into a very small space behind our water heater. There was small water damage and a bit of mold. Other companies quoted us $1700-2700 because they wanted to remove the water heater. Elias was able to do it for a third of the price without removing the water heater! He was a great contractor to work with- let me know when he was on the way and was very understanding of our wanting to keep costs down. He did a great repair job and we plan to ask him to help us with other projects in the house. Thanks Elias!

Travis and Lisa painted our home exterior and also did some interior painting. They were fast, reliable, detailed, and very reasonably priced. Good, honest people with a great work ethic. I'd recommend them without hestitation.

Don't waste your time with this company. one week they didn't add chemicals to pool, (pool water was/is cloudy) or empty any of the baskets, they left my pump motor running when it wasn't primed up. I called (tried 3 times plus text before he finally answered his phone) and asked about everything. He said he wasn't sure and he would call his guy and call me right back. He had his technician come back out the next. he took care of everything except treating the water for its cloudiness (phosphates). The next week they emptied all the baskets, backwashed pool, added chems tabs to floater but didn't take care of the phosphate issue once again. they also didn't re prime the motor basket so motor was running once again with no water. Yes, you would think something is wrong with my pool itself but i went and primed up the pump and turned the timer on and you know what happened....everything started working including the Navigator in the pool that was not moving when they serviced and left motor running. I tried to call the company back and ask whats going on. 3 attempts to call and 2 texts messages over a 3 hour span nothing. won't answer or return my call. then finally i get a call back and he says he can no longer service my pool because I'm being to demanding....umm, no, I'm just asking why its so hard to do your job?!

I hope this helps anyone looking for future pool service.

Ericka was amazing! I had to re tile my shower walls, and put in a new shower pan. They were booked a week or two out from when we first spoke (sign of a solid business), but Ericka was up front with me from the beginning on time frame and pricing. Got several quotes, and was very competitive with pricing, and did a fantastic job.

Follow up - some of the grout was loosening up (because of the schluter board I chose to use behind the tile), but she had someone come out and fix at no cost.

Would recommend 10/10, and I am completely satisfied. Thank you for a job well done.

At first they were great. But the last two months not dependable. We found plastic bags in both filters and alot of algae because they haven't shown up for three weeks!

I had some awnings put in in my house it was a small job I called three companies before this and they all made excuses Mayfield is very dependable and reliable and the job was done as promised, Excellent service and reliability
