They quoted me a price to remove a mesquite tree (based on pictures) and then nearly doubled it when they showed up to do the work and saw the tree. They were supposed to be at my house at 6:00am to do the work. At 6:00am, they told me it would actually be 9:00am. Then they showed up around 7:45am while I was dropping off my daughter. When I got home they were already it my backyard. This could have been very bad. I had not locked my dogs in the house, because I though I had another hour. The price they adjusted to was not dissimilar to other companies' quotes, but I had them leave because I didn't like the way they did business.

Irene and her crew were wonderful. She had great ideas for design and working within a budget. She went with me to pick out pots and I liked all her plant ideas.  The crew came on time everyday and did a good job cleaning up. I love my yard now.

Mike and his crew were very professional and we were very pleased with the finished product. He came out and made great recommendations for our backyard. We had tiger turf installed along with nice landscape lighting. He was on time each step of the way and we're very pleased with the final result. The price was also very fair for the project. I would definitely recommend Turf Monsters for your turf needs.

These guys were awesome! We have struggled for months finding a good landscaper that knew what they were doing and did the job. We have a huge property with lots of plants that all needed attention. They took their time and made sure that the trees and shrubs and EVERYTHING was looking great. We highly recommend these guys and will not use another landscaper! Thank you!

All I wanted was for them to cut the weeds in my yard.
They forgot to cut the weeds in the alley which is part of my property actually we own at the middle of the alley in my lot. They treated me with a generally snarky attitude and a giant weed that I couldn't see they left in the alley. They actually did a terrible job.

Sal came out and gave us an estimate and then came out again the next day to help us with a leak in our drip system that started when another company came out to test the system.  We were so appreciative that he came out and helped us because the other company would not come back out and wanted us to wait and have water leaking around our home's foundation.  Sal installed a new drip system and we are excited to have him continue to maintain our yard.  We will also be having him put grass in our backyard when we are ready and he already set up the system so it will be ready when we are.

We LOVED working with Hector and his team on our new front patio! After shopping around and chatting with referrals from friends and family, we were a little disgruntled because all of the quotes came in pretty high - way more than we had budgeted for our 'simple' front patio job. So, I opened my handy dandy Yelp app and requested a quote from a few different highly rated landscapers. Hector replied immediately and was at our house within 48 hours to see the yard and give an accurate quote. He was incredibly professional and we immediately trusted him with our landscaping project needs.

His quote came in right at our budget, so we said YES! Lets do it. We had the project scheduled within 3 weeks of his initial visit, which unfortunately put it right in the middle of July. We felt so bad that they were working in the heat but don't fret, we kept them hydrated with lots of Powerade!

The project consisted of laid pavers for a walkway and patio, a rock border along the patio and house, and plants with irrigation. They had the job done within 4 days and it is all that we had dreamed of and more. {See before & after photo!} We'll definitely use Hector and his team for future landscaping projects. Most importantly, we can't wait for the weather to cool down so that we can sit outside and enjoy our gorgeous front patio! :)

I just wanted to write a review about this company and especially Pablo and his brother Carlos and their whole team.  I had been wanting to redo part of my backyard for a long time.  I called several companies, most never called back, 1 came out and gave me an estimate and then never called back.  I got a response from Pablo and he came out the next day.  I told him what I was sort of thinking and he immediately started brainstorming and really got what I was wanting. He sent me a quote and it was reasonable (lower then he other guy).  He started the next week.  It took them 2 1/2 days to finish.  They laid tons of river rock, made an incredible path with crushed gravel.  He made a border all around with metal edging AND added a ton of desert landscaping.  The whole team worked quickly and cleaned up everything.  I can't really put in words how much I love what they did.  I'm sure it has increased the value of my home.  If you want to hire a great team that takes immense pride in their work you don't have to look any farther.

I had mixed feelings about how I wanted to rate this company.  
The good- George is a nice guy, returned my message pretty quick and came out the next day to look at my yard and gave me a quote.  Took about 3 weeks from that initial visit for them to start my project (which I thought was great because at these times, most companies seem to be booked out for months and are not even taking on any new projects.)

The bad- once the project was started, the completion of it kept getting pushed back- he would text me on the day when he was scheduled to come, and would say he would come the following week instead.  This happened 4 times.
Our project consisted of paver placement to widen our driveway and to create a pathway to our side gate, as well as paver steps leading up to our front door pathway.  Design was great.  Quality of work was poor.  There wasn't enough cement applied on the sides of the pavers on the side pathway initially, so the pavers shifted. He did fix this, but when I also looked at the cement applied to the edge of the extended driveway, I have concerns that it isn't going to hold...we'll see how that goes.  There also wasn't enough sand applied in between the pavers- I ended up doing this myself.  The steps that were made for us looked great, but after he completed the work and moved all the rock back, I discovered later that evening that several of the pavers easily come off and were not glued in properly.  I told George about it and it's been 2 weeks and he never texted me back.  Oh and he says there's no surprise costs, but he tacked on another $75 at the very end without advance notice for the steps because it took more work than expected. He didn't even replant my agave that he said he would move for me in the beginning.  I ended up fixing and doing everything myself to make sure things were actually done right and done well.

I would be wary of using this company- they seem to start projects quickly, probably so that you're stuck using them, but quality and completion may not be as expected.

Paul and his team were great to work with. They were very responsive and helpful during the initial design discussions. They acted with professionalism and attentiveness throughout the process and quickly responded when we had questions. They were able to construct our back yard with in a couple of days and were efficient and clean throughout construction. We are very excited to spend some time in our back yard now that is has cooled off. Thanks to Paul and the Happy Tree team for making our back yard dreams come true. I would defiantly recommend them to anyone looking to upgrade their yards.

I would definitely recommend using them. They were so professional, kind, on time and very communicative! The turf we got in our backyard is great quality and looks amazing!

Easy to contact and quick while on the job. My only complaint is that one item on their to-do list wasn't completed, but when I notified them of the issue, they scheduled a time to come out and finish the agreed-upon task.

Absolutely love these folks!  Starting with the office staff ( I am drawing a blank on her name). She was friendly with a very positive attitude.  Adam, Natalie and their crew did an amazing job and were responsive to any questions I had.  I was able to get all of my backyard remodel done thru them, which included landscaping, travertine patio, and pergola cover.  I wanted a low maintenance backyard and am truly pleased with the outcome.  What an amazing group of people!

Very quick response and came out promptly to quote and begun work the very next morning. I had Octavio and his team plant hopped bushes in my front yard and they did it in a timely manner and cleaned up well after themselves. Very happy with the work they did for me.

Omar came our to give us a quote on our house after finding him on Yelp, and was so nice! Gave us a quote to clean up weeds in the backyard after all the rain we had, and then we also wanted to get monthly maintenance services from him as well. He is very well priced for both the clean up and reoccurring services!

When him and his team got here for the clean up they were again very nice and had me look at everything after they were finished to make sure it was good, and it was! Our back yard looks great and am very happy to have someone to help keep up our back yard for summer time!

Honest, Professional, Respectful is what Windmill Landscaping is about. They are the only company that responded / kept appointment out of the 7 that I contacted on Yelp.   Juan is the most professional landscaper that you could hope to hire.  On time and follows up to all communications within a day.  He was infinitely patient with all of our changes, as our smallish project turned into a huge one.  Anything and everything I wanted a change on (many of those) was met with Juan's Not a problem, we can do that.  We ended up with two new fake grass areas (dogs LOVE their doggy grass), new back wall, huge paver patio, planting of my cocktail grove (lemon, orange and lime), many palms and most importantly, fixing my ancient irrigation system.  If Juan wasn't happy with the work done he would call it to my attention and have it fixed.  Worth every penny having the peace of mind that your contractor is ethical and knowing he expects the same amount of professionalism from his sub contractors.  Soon it is the front yard re-do and I would never use anyone else.  I have already referred him to a friend.

Great work and finished on the date I was told. Everything came out leveled and clean. I would recommend them to anyone.
