Irene walked me through every step of the way. I got many quotes, but Irene showed her passion for her work and put in the time to thoroughly explain the process. There were no surprise charges at the end of the job. She exceeded my expectations with her ability to do a modern landscape. I am so happy with her suggestions and the overall look of our yard.

We picked Turf Monsters due to the fantastic reviews. First off, our turf does look beautiful. The quality looks great and I am hoping that it stays that way. When you walk on our turf with and without shoes it feels a little lumpy. I don't think it is supposed to feel that way. There is also a cut by our pavers that is not straight and doesn't look that great. When I talked to the company, they said that it is a human that cuts it so it won't be perfect. Also, if you use this company make sure that you confirm that they are doing what you requested for your job while the team is on the job. We caught them not doing something we asked and we think/hope they corrected the issue. The salesman was nice and I did feel comfortable going with Turf Monsters. Now after the job is done, I am wondering if I made the right decision.

I had a very tall mesquite tree growing over a service line that had not been trimmed for three years.  Cristo responded very quickly, gave a bid and then scheduled the job for a few days later.  Jose showed up promptly and he and his partner did a truly excellent job trimming the Mesquite tree and clearing the wire.  The tree looks great and they left the area around the tree cleaner than it was when they got there.  Definitely would refer this company to anyone who is looking to get excellent trimming done.

They did a great job on short notice cleaning up my property (tree trimming, blowing leaves and weeding).I really appreciated them showing up and getting to work quickly. They even fixed some irrigation problems (replaced pipe, leaky valves etc) All In all very good value.

Sal was responsive and very helpful in discussing options for my backyard. He provided guidance and resources for planning next steps and his quote was fair compared to other companies. Would recommend!

Hector and his Dad, Manuel are the best. On time, friendly and always come back to my house for little things like changing the timers on the landscape lights. Highly, highly recommend them.

Happy Tree Landscaping provides attentive and personal customer service no matter how big or small the problem is during the construction process.
We started our project in August of 2019 and installed artificial turf, pavers, small plants, and trees. Over time, several plants died due to the extreme conditions. As a result,  I contacted Paul regarding the issue and Happy Tree quickly serviced our plants beyond the letter of the Happy Tree Landscape plant warranty.
Moreover, this  last winter we experienced considerably more precipitation than previous expectations.  As a result, our artificial lawn settled, thus causing the lawn to be wavy and bumpy. Consequently, about eight months later, I contacted Paul regarding issues with the artificial turf. Fortunately, Paul and Happy Tree Landscaping took care of the artificial turf issue by leveling the entire lawn and removing the waves in the grass and bumps.

I called Raul for a front and back yard makeover bid.  His price was very reasonable for the amount of work I wanted done. We set the date for him to start the  two day job. He showed up on time, worked hard, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was exactly what I wanted. He was very pleasant and easy to work with.  I would hire him again and I highly recommend him.

Naji and the team are fantastic.  Came out quickly for estimate.  Fair price.  Started the next week and finished in 2 days.  Added 20 ficus columns and a putting green near pool.  Outstanding work.  

Highly recommend and will definitely use again.

You may have to reschedule a couple times to get a quote, but it's absolutely worth it. They did an amazing job cleaning up my front yard of leaves and weeds, trimming the plants, and filling in a small sinkhole.

Incredibly frustrating experience!

I'm only writing this review to help keep anyone from making the same mistake I did.

If you love highly frustrating experiences, go ahead and hire this company.  
If you like to avoid agonizing frustration, move on and find another company.

First, like I assume everyone else does, I researched dozens of companies for our tree removal project.  After seeing all the misleading, great reviews for All Terrain Landscaping and Maintenance here on Yelp, I decided to hire them for our project...  Tremendous Mistake!

First, there were basic communication issues, such as not communicating until the very morning of, which day the work would take place.  I called at 7am, asking for an update on the project and was told I would receive a call when they were expected to arrive.  I have to put my dogs away and open our patio gate to let workers inside, so I definitely needed at least a few minutes notice, but I had no update whatsoever.  
Some workers decided to help themselves, climb over the wall, started cutting off large pieces of tree, and freaking my dogs out.  I came out to ask them to stop so I could open the gate for them.  No one spoke any English.  Then I discovered, this was NOT the company I hired for the job!

The company I hired for this project was All Terrain Landscaping and Maintenance.  This was some second-rate tree company with a ONE-STAR average on Yelp!  
Completely unacceptable, as this was NOT the company I hired!  
Our HOA is so incredibly strict, we have to get approval for every company and need records of the companies we use or we could be fined.  I had no idea if the company sent here to work was even insured, which could cause all kinds of problems we did not ask for.  I was furious!

To make it all worse, Adam from All Terrain Landscaping and Maintenance was such a disrespectful, unprofessional person to deal with, he had absolutely no care about this whatsoever.  He tried to make this my fault!  How could I be responsible for this?

I couldn't even communicate with the workers because none of them claimed to speak any English.

Then, to make this all so much worse, I arrived home after work to find a huge mess!  Apparently, since the company I hired never even showed up to the work site that day, we now have to play the blame game of 'Who's Responsible for the cleanup?' which of course lands on me.

I had to hire a clean up company to come do all the cleanup of my house/patio/yard, my neighbor's patio AND the mess in the common area, or I would be fined by our HOA.  This clean up came from my own sweat and wallet.  I have repeatedly contacted and discussed this with Adam, and he's such a prick, he doesn't care whatsoever, and refuses to accept responsibility.  The original estimate I received from Adam listed 'Clean up' as one of the services they provided, so I assumed they were handling the cleanup, but instead I now had to pay twice for it.

Now, we have bigger, legal problems to deal with.

Again, I post this review as a warning to others.  I truly hope you do not have to deal with the stress, expense, unprofessionalism and frustration associated with Adam and this company.

I scheduled a yard clean up for September 9th at 630 in the morning. Crew never showed up. Octavio came by that afternoon at 430p to give me an estimate for the yard clean up and a few others projects. By end of day I still did not have my yard cleaned up. We agreed they would take care of everything on September 24th.

I scheduled ANOTHER  yard clean up and other projects for Thursday September 24th. No one ever got to back to me with an estimate or what time they would be arriving. Keep in mind I had a lengthy conversation with Octavio on the 9th reference this project. And yet again NO ONE SHOWED UP OR CALLED ME.

Don't use this company! It's apparent they can't keep a schedule and pick and choose which projects they want. Too bad as I had cold hard cash to spend $$$.

I have attached screenshots of the correspondence with Debra during this time period. I reached out numerous times and was brushed off.

Omar Flores Landscaping did a wonderful job on my yard.  They cleared the weeds and put in gravel.  Exceptionally well-priced.  I would hire them again.  Omar and his staff were very friendly and professional.

Juan came out for an estimate.  Very nice and prompt, however we never received a follow up with an estimate.  It's been about 2 months.  
You never get a second chance to make a good first impression.

Update to Original Review

I received the quote from Juan this morning (a few hours after original post).   Looks like he did send the quote mid-December 2021, however I never received the quote.   I'm changing my rating and will update if we chose this contractor for our project.

We were beyond impressed with Ruben and his team. He installed a beautiful paver patio, turf, and rocks for an incredible price. We will definitely be using him in the future for the rest of our projects!
