This is my first landscaping project, and I could not have asked for a better team to help me transform my backyard. Turf Monsters AZ, especially Mike and Ryan, have exceeded my expectations on landscaping knowledge/design, customer satisfaction, and professionalism.

I am an indecisive person with limited creativity for landscaping, but Mike and Ryan made the process so much easier. Turf Monsters AZ offered many options for design, types of artificial turf, pavers, plants, as well as lighting. I had simple ideas on the appearance of my backyard, but they are truly experts in landscaping and were able to transcend my vision. With their help, I was able to add pet turf, pavers, borders, AND lights! My backyard used to be my least favorite area, but now is my favorite. They did a fantastic job, and I could not be any happier!

Cost was a priority for me when finding a landscaping company to work with. As a customer, I wanted a low/fair price that was within my budget, but I understand that companies need to profit too. Quality work is not cheap, but Turf Monsters AZ made it possible to get quality service at a reasonable price! I had researched 3 landscaping companies, and Turf Monsters AZ offered us the best price for everything we got. I am grateful that Mike and Ryan were able to work within my budget, and still brought my vision to life and more!

From the quote process to the final project day Cristo and his team were nothing but awesome! Initially I had Green Valley remove two trees, they were on time and did a fantastic job. A neighbor commented to me that you couldn't even tell a giant old pine had been there. Their work was so good I contracted with them to do an entire front yard renovation. Cristo listened to my ideas, gave me suggestions to improve and made my dream front yard come true. They were always on time, super friendly (even to my 3 crazed chihuahua's), fair price, quality work and every day they cleaned the job site so you couldn't tell work was being done. I have nothing but positives to say about this company. Use them, you will not be sorry!

strange company- I believe he is interested only in high priced items like pavers, lights, sprinklers and overpriced.  Once we said we wanted a second opinion he said he couldnt do our maintenance service and just stopped returning calls.  He had installed sprinklers and was demanding on wanting cash and not waiting.  Quoted a price for pavers and then when I hesitated dropped his price- always tells me he was overpricing me and cant be trusted.  Basic review- not trustworthy

Sal responded very quickly and was able to come to my home within hours to repair my sprinkler system. They did a great job and cleaned up beautifully.

Nevarez Landscaping just finished work on our backyard today, and simply put it is FANTASTIC.  
From the start Hector was friendly and professional, he far exceeded the other companies from which we received quotes in both price and professionalism.  I was pleased to work with him.
Hector was very accommodating, incorporating our own ideas with his recommendations creating a beautiful and practical space. My wife and I had some very specific requests with regard to which plants we wanted and Hector delivered all on accounts.  He even took the time to explain the finer points of using my irrigation control including how and when to water the plants already in place in the front yard in addition to those he added to the back.
Communication was excellent with updates throughout the course of the project.
I would not hesitate for a single second to recommend Hector and his crew nor will I hesitate to contact him for additional projects in the future.

I just wanted to write a review about this company and especially Pablo and his brother Carlos and their whole team.  I had been wanting to redo part of my backyard for a long time.  I called several companies, most never called back, 1 came out and gave me an estimate and then never called back.  I got a response from Pablo and he came out the next day.  I told him what I was sort of thinking and he immediately started brainstorming and really got what I was wanting. He sent me a quote and it was reasonable (lower then he other guy).  He started the next week.  It took them 2 1/2 days to finish.  They laid tons of river rock, made an incredible path with crushed gravel.  He made a border all around with metal edging AND added a ton of desert landscaping.  The whole team worked quickly and cleaned up everything.  I can't really put in words how much I love what they did.  I'm sure it has increased the value of my home.  If you want to hire a great team that takes immense pride in their work you don't have to look any farther.

George was fast and prompt with the response! He got the job done just as described and his price was very reasonable. I recommend George for any kind of landscape work!

Paul and his crew were amazing! We had several facets to the job we needed done, including grading a driveway and reconstructing a flood-irrigation system. Paul is the unicorn of contractors:  he was responsive, on time, and on budget. His crew did a great job, and left the job site spotless. Can't begin to thank him and his crew enough for a job well-done.

I was referred to Montoya's landscaping by a current client of theirs.  I requested a quote for a lawn cleanup of leaves.  I recently moved into a new house and did not have the time to remove leaves with all the unpacking.  I specifically said if it was under $100 to go ahead and anything more to just leave a quote.  

I come home to a yard half cleaned.  The flower beds and ground cover were never touched.  I expected a bill of $100 or less and was disappointed with the half-assed job done.  

To my surprise a couple days later, I received a bill on my door for nearly 4 times the amount I was expecting it to be.  -I was shocked and in disbelief.  I explained the situation to their owner and he insisted I pay him more than the $100 I said was my max and this is on top of the fact he only did half of my yard.  I compromised and agreed to double what I wanted to pay since he did do some of the work.  

I would warn all homeowners to never use them and if you make the mistake, to make sure you have everything in writing.  That still may not be enough as he will just show up and do a subpar job and charge you way more than you were told and then hound you for payment.

Unprofessional and unacceptable.  I will be reporting them to the better business bureau.

Quotes were seriously extremely high.  I would shop around.  Neighbor had work done, but told me that they overpaid.  Skip it.  Its close to 25% more than others.

Very strange -- I can't reconcile all the positive reviews with my own personal experience. Called them up due to the overwhelmingly positive feedback on Yelp.

I had a few sprinkler heads that needed to be replaced/repaired/adjusted before I overseeded. Eli got back to me quickly and set an appointment on a day when I'd be at work, which was fine. On the day of the appointment, I got a call from the service tech telling me that my sprinklers were fine but my controller was broken, and it would be $385 to replace. I told him that the controller isn't broken -- one of the buttons is sticky, but the system is fine. On the other hand, the sprinklers are not fine, that's why I called. He told me the system was old and should be replaced. I gently told him that I would consider that, but I wasn't going to authorize a $385 replacement without getting a competitive bid, but in the meantime, would he please run and repair the sprinkler heads as I requested -- I mentioned the specific ones I had concerns about. He barked at me, but agreed to do so. I still haven't seen any paperwork or notice regarding what he did.

Maybe the service tech was just having a bad day, but I can't recommend these guys.

Appreciate that at least the owner posts productive and rational responses to reviews that show opportunities to improve. Nice to know that someone might be listening.

We contacted All Terrain for a one time clean up on our front yard.  This business was extremely professional and courteous from start to finish.  Michelle was very nice on the phone and returned my calls promptly.  Adam came out when he was scheduled, and I had an estimate that night.  His estimate was very detailed and easy to understand.  The crew did a great job on the clean up.  Natalie, the designer, went above and beyond to make sure we would be happy with the new plants that were being planted.  I would definitely recommend this business and will certainly use them in the future.

My yard got away from me, weeds multiplied like rabbits and my trees looked like they belonged in a jungle, I couldn't stand upright to mow my postage stamp back yard - I needed help! So I perused the ads in Yelp and came across Jaguars Landscaping. They responded with a visit and bid the same day, did far more than I thought they would and changed my landscape from overgrown to manicured. What a sight. My wife and I are so impressed. Honest, Professional, Respectful is what Windmill Landscaping is about. They are the only company that responded / kept appointment out of the 7 that I contacted on Yelp.   Juan is the most professional landscaper that you could hope to hire.  On time and follows up to all communications within a day.  He was infinitely patient with all of our changes, as our smallish project turned into a huge one.  Anything and everything I wanted a change on (many of those) was met with Juan's Not a problem, we can do that.  We ended up with two new fake grass areas (dogs LOVE their doggy grass), new back wall, huge paver patio, planting of my cocktail grove (lemon, orange and lime), many palms and most importantly, fixing my ancient irrigation system.  If Juan wasn't happy with the work done he would call it to my attention and have it fixed.  Worth every penny having the peace of mind that your contractor is ethical and knowing he expects the same amount of professionalism from his sub contractors.  Soon it is the front yard re-do and I would never use anyone else.  I have already referred him to a friend.

This company is the best! Not only was their work beautiful the prices were much much better than the other 5-star review companies. I got quick response to my request and they got started two days later. Rubin and his crew were incredibly prompt, polite, and so easy to work with especially after me changing my mind about a few things more than once. They turned my yard from what was a never ending headache to a place I love spending my time in. Thank you so much Rubin and your crew. I'll be calling soon as I have more ideas now that I WANT to be in my yard everyday.
