Very Reasonable and very experienced.  They did an amazing job on landscaping and tree service!  I will definitely continue to use and recommend him to anyone!

Other landscape companies could learn from this team about quality service. Here's what we experienced.

1. They showed up for the estimate ready to take notes, photographs. They listened and provided helpful suggestions, without trying to balloon the budget.

2. They were clear at communicating throughout the process about unexpected costs and alternative solutions.

3. They provided helpful instructions about caring for our plants and yard after they were finished.

4. They made sure the job was DONE. Leaks fixed, clean up done.

I certainly hope for an opportunity to work with this team again in the future.

We loved working with this company. Mike came out to my house and gave me a quote and let me know that their calendars were about 3 months out. When the time to work came closer, he kept me updated about when the guys would start and approximately how long it would take. The crew was at my house every day before 6:15 AM and worked diligently to make sure that our yard looks great. This wasn't cheap, but absolutely feels worth it to us.

Six stars if I could!  Ortiz has exceeded our expectations in several complex projects. Our overgrown grapefruit tree was pruned perfectly. TONS of Arizona red gravel was hauled to a neighbor's yard, and a beautifully paved patio was installed in its place. I am impressed by the diligence each worker shows, and the quality of workmanship is unbeatable. My strongest recommendation to Ortiz!!

I am really disappointed because I picked this place based on the reviews...but I recently had an estimate appointment, which there was a miscommunication because they showed up 2 hours earlier than the time they told me. On top of that, just to cut down some bushes and a thin Branch was going to be close to a grand! Then when I was adding up the front yard and backyard, they couldn't even remember what the estimate they gave me in that moment. Very unprofessional and I've gotten estimates less than Half of the price they quoted me. Ridiculous.

I requested an estimate to have two large palm trees trimmed, and even though it was the weekend, he super responsive! We scheduled a time as soon as he had availability. He and his team came first thing Monday morning. They did a great job! Very fairly priced, very responsive, thorough, quick and clean - I would highly recommend.

Thank you Sal for fixing my leaky irrigation lines. Will definitely use him again.

Hector and his team were a pleasure to work with.  Hector  was very responsive, and an effective communicator.  He developed a plan and bid for our job using his experience to develop a plan that worked well with our space.  They started the job when they said they would, and continued until the job was complete.  His crew are very hard workers and completed a very professional job.  We are very happy with our job and highly recommend Nevarez!

Pablo and Carlos are awesome! Their team was fast and did an amazing job. I recommend them with more than 5 stars. I will definitely call them again.

Glad I found George and his company to take care of a backyard project that needed to get done quickly.  George removed about 420+ sq feet of sod and capped off irrigation to our backyard as we get ready to build a pool.   He was efficient, very thorough and very fair priced!  I will not hesitate to call Astonishing Landscape again.

Contracted for landscaping and dripper system upgrades.  Didn't finish the work. Doesn't return calls, makes appointment and then no shows. Leftover work includes
1.  Replacement of dead plants delivered and installed but did not survive.  Guaranteed but dead ones still in place.
2.  Finish planting original inventory of plants.
3.  Fix leaking drippers they installed.
4.  Will not return calls.
5.  Made appointments for finish work and stood up three times.
I do not recommend this company.

Owner responded to this review. We spoke about the additional unfinished work and we agreed on the additional cost to finish the project. He has been impossible to contact to complete the work at additional cost.

Raul picked up my call on a Sunday and scheduled a bid for the next day. He was willing to go to both of my properties and gave me a specific time when he would be there. He was right in time and gave me a fair bid for both properties. Today he came for my first device. Again, he was there when he said he would be and he did a great job with mowing, trimming, blowing and rock clean up. I have been very pleased with my experience thus far. It is rare to find someone so PROMPT and RELIABLE. I would DEFINITELY RECOMMEND Montoya's Landscaping.

I wanted to landscape my entire backyard and make it more pet friendly after adopting two puppies last year.  Naji and his landscaping and pool team were great to make it happen in a couple weeks timespan.  I had a side yard fence with gate installed as well as pavers over my existing pool deck and a paver expansion. They also created a planter and installed artificial pet turf to add some greenery and a place for the dogs to run and play.  Finally my pool was re-pebbled (I had plaster before). Everything turned out wonderful! Naji was great in answering any and all questions I had via email/text message, and was very prompt in replying. I would highly recommend JNK Landscaping and Pools for your next yard project!

Being the post-apocalyptic disaster my front and backyards were, I expected to be shelling out a lot of cash for a cleanup.

Not only did AMS have the best price (I checked with 3 other companies), they did an amazing job for the cheapest, and even cleaned up the back alley I hadn't even thought about. Eli was incredibly prompt at returning emails and setting up an appointment, and was even great about helping me with a payment option that suited me best. I'll definitely be using their service again in the future.

This is our go to place for my landscaping needs. We recently moved into our new home and our backyard needed a lot of work. Lili and her team were amazing. They provided amazing customer service in a timely manner. I would recommend their services to anyone.

Incredibly frustrating experience!

I'm only writing this review to help keep anyone from making the same mistake I did.

If you love highly frustrating experiences, go ahead and hire this company.  
If you like to avoid agonizing frustration, move on and find another company.

First, like I assume everyone else does, I researched dozens of companies for our tree removal project.  After seeing all the misleading, great reviews for All Terrain Landscaping and Maintenance here on Yelp, I decided to hire them for our project...  Tremendous Mistake!

First, there were basic communication issues, such as not communicating until the very morning of, which day the work would take place.  I called at 7am, asking for an update on the project and was told I would receive a call when they were expected to arrive.  I have to put my dogs away and open our patio gate to let workers inside, so I definitely needed at least a few minutes notice, but I had no update whatsoever.  
Some workers decided to help themselves, climb over the wall, started cutting off large pieces of tree, and freaking my dogs out.  I came out to ask them to stop so I could open the gate for them.  No one spoke any English.  Then I discovered, this was NOT the company I hired for the job!

The company I hired for this project was All Terrain Landscaping and Maintenance.  This was some second-rate tree company with a ONE-STAR average on Yelp!  
Completely unacceptable, as this was NOT the company I hired!  
Our HOA is so incredibly strict, we have to get approval for every company and need records of the companies we use or we could be fined.  I had no idea if the company sent here to work was even insured, which could cause all kinds of problems we did not ask for.  I was furious!

To make it all worse, Adam from All Terrain Landscaping and Maintenance was such a disrespectful, unprofessional person to deal with, he had absolutely no care about this whatsoever.  He tried to make this my fault!  How could I be responsible for this?

I couldn't even communicate with the workers because none of them claimed to speak any English.

Then, to make this all so much worse, I arrived home after work to find a huge mess!  Apparently, since the company I hired never even showed up to the work site that day, we now have to play the blame game of 'Who's Responsible for the cleanup?' which of course lands on me.

I had to hire a clean up company to come do all the cleanup of my house/patio/yard, my neighbor's patio AND the mess in the common area, or I would be fined by our HOA.  This clean up came from my own sweat and wallet.  I have repeatedly contacted and discussed this with Adam, and he's such a prick, he doesn't care whatsoever, and refuses to accept responsibility.  The original estimate I received from Adam listed 'Clean up' as one of the services they provided, so I assumed they were handling the cleanup, but instead I now had to pay twice for it.

Now, we have bigger, legal problems to deal with.

Again, I post this review as a warning to others.  I truly hope you do not have to deal with the stress, expense, unprofessionalism and frustration associated with Adam and this company.

We hired this company after our landscaper stopped showing up. They get 3 stars because they did an excellent job when they came out to do the clean up, granted we did pay them $500

Today was the follow up to begin regular maintenance. Here is what sucked:

1. I had to contact them 4 weeks later. They did not proactively reach out to me.
2. They took a few days to respond but eventually gave me a time slot.
3. They were 2 hours late to the time slot with no communication which would not be a huge deal but considering they only accept cash I had to rush to the bank when they appeared.
4. I got told it would be $80 to maintain my yard. Then I got told $100 and today I got told $150. This is 3x higher than any other landscaper I have had.
5. I got told for the cost today it covered reseeding but it did not and when I explained that wasn't my understanding I got asked How long have you lived here, you don't reseed yourself?

Unprofessional, disrespectful, unreliable and unreasonable

Omar did a wonderful job! We have a small patio at our townhouse that was full of dirt and rocks, and we could do anything with it.  We wanted bricks put in so that we could use the space and make it more open.  I requested a quote from Omar, and he responded very quickly and came out to give me an estimate. He explained the whole process and what it would entail, and gave me a straight forward quote. When I called back to hire him, he came out as soon as he could so I could decide what color pavers to put in.  

He scheduled the work for the following week, and was done in half a day.  The work is amazing and looks better than I imagined!  He went even further and hosed off my patio, the furniture, and cleaned my welcome mat. If you need a landscaper in Mesa, go to Omar!  Thank you for everything, Omar!

Honest, Professional, Respectful is what Windmill Landscaping is about. They are the only company that responded / kept appointment out of the 7 that I contacted on Yelp.   Juan is the most professional landscaper that you could hope to hire.  On time and follows up to all communications within a day.  He was infinitely patient with all of our changes, as our smallish project turned into a huge one.  Anything and everything I wanted a change on (many of those) was met with Juan's Not a problem, we can do that.  We ended up with two new fake grass areas (dogs LOVE their doggy grass), new back wall, huge paver patio, planting of my cocktail grove (lemon, orange and lime), many palms and most importantly, fixing my ancient irrigation system.  If Juan wasn't happy with the work done he would call it to my attention and have it fixed.  Worth every penny having the peace of mind that your contractor is ethical and knowing he expects the same amount of professionalism from his sub contractors.  Soon it is the front yard re-do and I would never use anyone else.  I have already referred him to a friend.

I have had a lot of experience with landscapers In rental properties as well as primary residences...some good, some meh and more often than not, really bad! Finding an honest landscaper in today's market is hard, finding a reliable AND honest landscaper is winning the lottery! I called Nicos about two months ago and  won the lottery. I spoke to Ruben. He showed up on time and gave me a reasonable estimate on irrigation installation. I called him again to hire him a month later, he showed up on time again! he did a fantastic job installing commercial type PVC irrigation with a FIVE YEAR WARRANTY and he has show up three times after installation on his own merit to tweak sprinklers and quality check the systems.
This guy and his crew are amazing. They knocked out my .30 acre yard in two days and didn't ask for a penny until they broke ground.  My highest recommendation goes to these folks. I even retained them for my regular maintenance and will have them do all my planting in the fall!
