Like others, we had an outstanding experience with Daniel and his Team.  He explained exactly how they would remove our 33 year old tree; the Team (Johnie, Jayclyn and two others) showed up on time and completed the job within the time estimated (very careful not to damage either landscape lighting or irrigation) - great job of clean-up.  We had a relationship with another tree service (who we have spent a lot money with but was unwilling to be flexible in their price); we chose Daniel's company because: 1) clear explanation of how he would do the job; 2) trained arborist on site during job; 3) insurance - very important - because if anything goes wrong, you want to be sure tree service is covered -- many homeowner policies don't cover damage due to falling trees!) and, 4) while not the deciding factor - his price was very reasonable compared to one other quote and what our neighbors told us we should expect to pay.  Finally, their Office Manager, Ingrid, was very helpful in scheduling service and reconfirming date/time team would be on site.

Unrelated to tree removal, Daniel provide good advice on other questions we had about irrigation and landscaping.  We have come to trust his judgment and plan to use his company for other projects.

We recommend the use of Liberty without any reservations - great people in a service area where they are very around!

Heartwood is the best kind of example of a locally owned and operated business. They are personable, timely, and very knowledgeable and skilled.

I have used them four times now and each time they have delivered reasonably priced work, in a timely manner and as promised.

Absolutely NO complaints.  From the first phone call, they are professional, have a quick response and do excellent work.  Better than expected!  I've had many compliments on the driveway pavers that they installed.  The foreman put in a beautiful arc around my plants, that I didn't visualize.  It turned out beautiful.  The foreman also came back the second day to finish when he wasn't feeling well, but he wanted to get it done before it rained.  He certainly went the extra mile in his work and dedication.  Would recommend them absolutely!

Don't waste your time and money like I have - keep looking around for a lawn company that respects its customers and doesn't lie and threaten them.

Update (reply):  looks like you don't understand what it means to bear false witness against someone and then submit false documents on their behalf.  You will be held accountable for that evil should you act on it!  Careful.

This is the 2nd time I've used Chip Off the Old Block and both times have been very good.  The estimator, (wish I got his name), was timely and professional.  I had them trim and reduce mesquite trees and they did an excellent job.  I have solar panels on my roof and the trees had started to block the panels.  In both cases, I would've like the trees to be cut back further, but they said that for the health of the tree, they shouldn't.  I suspect many others would've happily cut as much as I wanted and I would've regretted it later, so I appreciated that they did the 'right' thing.  I'll use them again.

I thought by hireing a professional we would get good service removing our 2 trees but they left roots behind that keep spouting and won't do anything to solve the problem. Now I have to hire our landscaper to come out and do what they should have done.
