Phoenix Home Remodeling far exceeded our expectations!  We remodeled our master math and partial remodel of two other bathrooms. The process was so smooth and the entire team made something that can be very stressful into a project that was enjoyable.  I appreciated the collaboration and communication throughout  the entire project from start to finish. Jeremy, Ben, and Mark are absolutely amazing and we will definitely work with them again on our next project! They by far are the best of the best.

It was truly an all-around great experience.  Mark came out, talked to us about what we wanted to do in remodeling our bathroom, took pictures and measurements, and had a reasonable estimate out to us within a couple weeks.  His crew started the job on time, and they were all great.  They all seemed very competant and friendly.

Once the job was completed, we realized that as a result of our plans (not Mark's), our walk-in shower had a little overspray issue where our vanity was getting splashed.  We called Mark who offered us a few different options and the cost of each.  We decided to have a glass wall expanded a little, and then Mark told us that he was going to split the cost of that with us.  How sweet is that?  It truly was not Sunset's fault that our shower was spraying a little past our glass wall, so that was an added bonus that he offered to share the cost of our "tweaking" of the wall.

We are now remodeling a condo, and we started with the upstairs bathroom. Since I'm not good with any type of plumbing or concrete work, I came upon Details through another Yelp search. Turns out Kent is kinda out of the handyman business and does full on remodels now. I was very pleased!
He arrived on time for our estimate and was very straightforward and professional about what he could do for us. We agreed on a start date, and spent a few e-mails adjusting the work contract until we had a firm agreement. He can do whatever you need done, and if there are items you want to do to save money, he's fine with that as well.
He and his crew had the bathroom demo and drawn out in a day, and already had completed the plumbing changes and drywall repairs. He called and walked me through some of the previously unseen issues to see how I wanted to proceed. They then moved on to making a concrete shower pan, installing new tile throughout the shower and floor. We purchased our own bathroom vanity and put it together and he installed it.
Within no time at all, we have a new, spectacular master bathroom. Throughout the whole process, he kept the area clean and more importantly, kept me updated on how everything was working out. If he came across anything that needed clearance, he called me first instead of just going ahead and doing it.

I hired modern innovation to do a remodel in my kitchen, new flooring in the main living area's paint, move washer and dryer to another room and turn previous laundry area into a pantry, and some other things.  My first meeting Irving I felt like he would be a good fit as he seem to have good ideas and understood what I wanted and I felt I was clear.   Keep in mind my father and brother were contractors, my husband has done construction. So I'm not an idiot, but I am not by any means a contractor or even a laborer for that matter so I really relied on his expertise.   I found him to be confusing at time's, forgetful in regard to conversations we had. His way of speaking to me put me on the offensive and made me question who I hired.  And why my pantry, my front, main living room, and other minor things are not done. Once the final cabinet, was in I was done.  He's been paid for what he did. I have attached some pictures and I really hope I can comment on them but if I can't, here's a brief commentary of what I see.  On my door what is that? It doesn't match up with either side of the other floor boards and when he was installing the last cabinet he didn't notice that the the peeling paint on the ceiling. Again I know nothing about how to do carpentry but black nails on white baseboard I could swear you can get white nails if you don't plan on painting the baseboards. Putting up that ugly thing under my door I guess you didn't notice the piece of wall under the glass that was not painted nor the broken glass that wasn't broken before.  If  I could remove the one star, I gave him I would.  Now I am on the hunt for someone new that can remodel my bathroom.

Russ was very easy to communicate with. He responded very fast and remained in contact throughout. I needed lights to be hung up because we were having a religious celebration. I needed something temporary and did not care much for how well they were hung up so long as they withheld the wind and lasted till the next couple of days. Russ not only replied quickly but was able to come within the same day and was so helpful even making suggestions for how to hang the lights in a more permanent and stable way. The price in my opinion was very reasonable. I highly recommend contacting him for anything you need.

We used Pelleco Home Design for a kitchen redesign / renovation, as well as laundry room and floor renovations.  Sam was very involved throughout the design and build process. He was very responsive and kept me updated on who was coming to work and when.  

Pricing was very competitive and I really liked that they wanted to avoid change requests as much as I did. Even when unexpected challenges arose, he kept his word and there were zero change requests.  We have worked with other contractors in the past where every little thing was a separately charged piece of work... and that of course extended the timeline for those projects.  

We were back in our new kitchen within 5 weeks!  All of our neighbors commented on how quickly our project was progressing.  We love our new kitchen and we loved working with Sam and the Pelleco team!

I highly recommend Lux Home Remodeling! Skyler and his team are dependable, timely, respectful and very professional!  Lux has done several projects at my home. Lux is my Go-To for all of my projects and upgrades.

Good work and fair price (got multiple quotes). There were some delays in completing the project but Juan kept in communication so it didn't bother me. He actually did a little extra free of charge because he felt bad.   Would use again.  For reference, the job included replacing a wood fence, Installing a new gate and replacing some siding.

My girlfriend and I used VETSBuilt to renovate our house after refinancing our house. We were so excited for the house to have a makeover and truly be turned into a home for our family. My girlfriend is a retired combat medic for the army so we were even more excited to use a veteran run company. I would like to warn those of you looking to use this company against it. Our house is beautiful, don't get me wrong, but there were so many mistakes, short cuts, and then there is the fact that there is no warranty on the work.                              -Before beginning the renovation I has asked Bob if I should patch the holes in the house and remove all of the nails/tacks/staples/etc. He had told me not to worry and that the painters would take care of it. The painters failed to remove those items and I know have the pleasure of continuing to remove them and repaint where they were. The holes were patched in a rushed manner. When the sun hits the patches just right, you can see where the left over spackle was smeared over the walls and the hole. Then there is the clean up for the painters. They left paint over numerous light fixtures, baseboards, the new floor, and the ceiling.                     -We originally wanted to get cabinets from Home Depot and had picked out the design and received a quote. Bob told us that his "cabinet guy" was "the best." This was not true. The cabinet guy, his name is Jaime, was far from the best. After having sat down with both Bob and Jaime to design the cabinets, as Bob told us the ones we wanted from Home Depot were no good, the cabinets were designed ENTIRELY wrong. The design was similar to the old cabinetry that we were tossing. We informed Bob, who had told us he remembered the design we chose and agreed the ones built were not what we were paying for. The cabinets were never replaced and we received $500 off for something we didn't want. There were further issues with the cabinets when Bob failed to communicate with his guy that we were no longer able to afford a new vanity for our master bathroom. We had told him we didn't want the vanity but Bob had arranged a deal with Jaime that we could keep this vanity for free...another way to make up for the entire kitchen being done wrong. The vanity was also designed wrong, the drawers require so much force to be opened that most of the time you end up whacking yourself in the leg or crotch. I told Bob this too, and despite him also having difficulties opening the drawers and him watching me attempt to open the drawer and having it hit me in the crotch, he said it would be okay over time. To this very day, I still hit myself. The hinges used by the cabinet guy were put on in a rushed manner, Bob claimed that clients make his guy nervous (we were never in the house when he was here) and one of the cabinet doors is beginning to fall off the hinge. Bob did make an attempt to have Jaime fix the spice rack and the missing stain on the island cabinetry. However, when Jaime arrived he had stated Bob never told him about needing to bring stain to finish the island, I texted Bob right there on the spot and he told me that Jaime doesn't understand English very well so he must not have known what he was talking about.                                 -The floor we had put in began to pop up after Bob's crew left. Bob had the floor installed by someone now well versed in the type of floor we were putting in, the subfloor was uneven and despite putting down the moisture barrier pad, it didn't help - there are spots that sag and where the boards pop. The company we wanted to use would have leveled the sub floor and saved us the hassle of continuously bouncing as we walk through the house. Bob did the measurements for the house to determine how much of the flooring we needed to purchase. He measured wrong every time. I believe we had to make 2 extra trips to the store to get more flooring...which wasn't in the budget. This just seems like a rookie mistake for a contractor. And it was costly.                                                        -We had the master bathroom renovated. The crew Bob used for this portion was very nice. Other than cleaning their equipment down the shower drain and toilet, their tile work looks and is amazing. No flaws! The shower that Bob had done for us is beautiful, but leaks. The joints where the glass meet have not been sealed properly and water spills out onto the floor in a large puddle.                                                                 Like I said, we had huge hopes for our experience and partnership with this company. And it fell short. All of the issues listed above were addressed with Bob directly. Unfortunately, while he talks to you about wanting things to be perfect, and how he understands wanting things done right because you're paying for it - its a lie. We had our shower done by these guys and it came out beautifully! They were all so friendly and put up with our nosey kid and dog, we would absolutely recommend going with them! Any hiccups that came up Ali addressed immediately and we appreciated that!

We move a lot and we've remodeled three houses now, and you never really know what you're going to get with different contractors. I chose carefully when picking a contractor for our new home in Scottsdale, and I am so impressed with the excellent quality, consistency and communication we experienced with K + B.

The whole team (from administrative to project management to trades) were great to work with. With how overwhelmed the industry is right now, most guys are just trying to get a job done and get onto the next, but we did not ever feel that way with Mike and his team. Everyone paid great attention to detail and made sure we were happy with every part of the job. Mike was our project manager and was so good about staying in touch throughout the project, and while we appreciated all our contractors, Luis was an absolute joy to work with. He handled most of our general work during the remodel and he was AWESOME. Luis' personality and quality of work was 10 out of 10 and we were so happy to work with him!

I know if we have any future projects in AZ, we'll be hiring K + B again. Thanks to everyone!

After my review the owner of the business, Brian, reached out. It seems there was some confusion as who was going to contact who. I was impressed in talking with Brian and learning more about him. My take away is that he is honest, empathic, and a hard working business owner. Since I had no work done I cannot speak to their craftmanship.
I will give 5 stars for the integrity and communication on the part of the owner.

We started on our first remodel this year and wanted to start with the kitchen and our kid's bathroom.  Andrew had some great advice while talking through what we wanted that really helped us get our vision together.  He also helped reign us in and keep us from doing stupid things that may become an issue years down the line.

Kyle at Capital Mark was fantastic to work with. We were just going to install granite counter tops but after Kyle came to our home he suggested new cabinets and are we glad he did. What a difference! Kyle walked us through the entire process and explained everything, made some suggestions such as sliders in the cabinets. The install went surprisingly easy with no major problems at all, in fact the only problems was some of the cabinet doors had woodgrain that didn't look good. Kyle came over and immediately order replacements and that was that. My wife wanted to add extra sliders when job was almost complete and it was no problem. The installers were John and his son Jason and they were excellent, very nice and personable. Their work is second to none. They were always on time and at the end of each day they completely cleaned up the work areas.
I've had experiences on other projects in the past and with out a doubt this was the BEST.
We will be using them for our bathroom remodel next year.

I'm an interior designer and was refered to affinity. I scored when I got Ray who is amazing and totally knows his stuff. Super friendly guy and very fast response. I'll be using them for all of my client's projects!

Nice job but EXPENSIVE.  More than other companies for the same job.  Because of that would look elsewhere next time.  We are in our mid 70;s and at times other take advantage of them.
