We hired Gorilla Builders to build a shop separate from our home. When we first approached them, the owner of the company, Jeff Suer, was the individual we spoke with. We stopped by their office to sign the detailed contract and went over it from beginning to end. The process was put in place and the permits obtained, building was started, and we now have a wonderful functional shop. We were truly impressed with the quality of the build from beginning to end. Each worker was friendly and knew exactly what they were doing and completed the job over and above all expectations. If we had a question during the build all we did was call Jeff who was readily available. Thank you Gorilla Builders, Jeff, Hector, Tom, Bob, all you guys!

Andrew and his crew did a great job replacing the windows in my condo!! He also gave me a very fair price, which ended up being almost half of what other companies quoted. I will definitely be using Green Home Services for future needs and will recommend to my friends.

Edit: Response to my review is misleading.  It was a project much larger than just countertops, and I found someone that was willing to do just the countertop if that's what made the most sense.  Skyler did not respond to this inquiry/suggestion.  It wasn't as if I waited 4 days, got impatient, and wrote a review.  I waited 13 days and not a peep.  Skyler did reach out to me with apologies after seeing the review, which I appreciate.

WOW! What a great company! We are selling a property and needed some work done FAST. They were reliable, were able to get all of the random items completed from the inspection report, and all within a timely manner and really affordable. Michael was such a great find! It's difficult to find professional support for small but important home repair. He replied to my request quickly and came the very next morning.

Michael replaced all weather stripping in two sets of french doors and brought our garage-to-kitchen door up to code. The main entry doors are very old, wooden doors, and a treasure to us -- Michael was very careful with them and made adjustments to his work to be sure the doors maintained their original look. They close perfectly without a single gap or blemish.

While he was here, I asked about another door that never closed properly -- he offered to fix it on the spot and was clear about pricing. It finally works!

Michael will do whatever it takes to be sure you're pleased with the work so just ask -- I'm so glad I did!

My husband and I met Ed and Brian with EJK & Sons Construction after interviewing 4 other builders. Their team had just finished remodeling our neighbor's house who suggested we meet them. I knew immediately it was Ed's company I wanted to use. Both he and his project manager Brian, are knowledgeable, friendly, and very easy to work with. They provide guidance to keep you on track without a lot of pressure. We had the bid and time to completion estimate within 2 days.
Ed kept us on budget throughout the project and if we wanted to add anything, he made us aware of additional costs ahead of time. Also, if we thought anything needed to be addressed throughout the project, it was done so almost immediately.
We did not use a designer and so I had what seemed like hundreds of decisions to be made over the 3 months it took them to finish. Both Ed and Brian were always a phone call or text away ready to assist in any way possible. It actually felt like I was calling a friend or family member to help me. I would not have been able to do it without them.
One last point to mention are the team of men working for them. They are all friendly, respectful, and meticulous at what they do. Our finished home is absolutely gorgeous! There was not hardly anything that needed to be addressed.
I have heard that remodeling can be a nightmare and take so much longer than planned. EJK & Sons  actually made remodeling our entire house fun and it finished on schedule.
If you are building or need remodeling of any kind, I highly recommend giving Ed with EJK & Sons Construction a call. You will not be disappointed!

We did a total gut job on our master bathroom. Mike guided us through the process. We picked out all the fixtures and finishes, but Mike, Tim, and crew did an amazing job. We went from an out-dated, boring bathroom to a modern, sleek master bathroom retreat! And they guarantee workmanship for a year, so if we have any issues, I know they'll make it right. (We haven't had any issues as of yet!)

Hands down, Q is one of the best out there - he's honest, hardworking, knowledgeable and very trustworthy. I referred him to my family members as well. Easy to communicate with and no project is too big or too small from electric, plumbing to installing tvs, I would highly recommend him to everyone.

We went with RH Design & Build for an interior remodel including a complete kitchen renovation.  Despite some challenges along the way, we could not be happier with the end result.  We recommend RH Design & Build for their professionalism and craftsmanship.

Very dishonest company. Per them they could not find tile and would have to charge an outrageous amount. I went to the store looking for tile. Guess What, they had the tile.

Wish I could give a better review but the dude never showed up. I don't understand people that set appointments and don't follow through. The awful part is that he had my address and phone number, and who knows what he'll do with it. He didn't call, didn't message, nothing. I finally responded through Yelp and told him I was sorry that he didn't show and that we would be seeking assistance from another business. His response was a vague sorry for the inconvenience. No reason, no explanation, nothing. Do NOT recommend using this business.

We were recently in the process of painting our house ourselves, and our drywall patio and front entry ceilings needed some major help due to pretty bad flaking and peeling. We figured it was not a good idea to try to patch these up ourselves, because we basically had no idea what we were doing.

I called one drywall contractor with great ratings on line, but his price was a bit out of our range.
 
Then I checked Angie's List Best Contractors of 2013 for the Phoenix area and one of the ones listed was Drywall Perfection. I called Bill who sounded very courteous and professional, and his price was quite reasonable and more in the range of what we could afford. Plus he gave us a nice senior discount!

When the day came, Bill (who arrived early) and his assistant Carlos covered everything with plastic, took great care to scrape every last bit of loose stuff off the ceilings, and re-finished them till they looked like brand-new again!  Then they picked up all the plastic and -- ta da! -- no mess! Great job!

We would definitely recommend them to anyone needing drywall work because they are indeed....you guessed it....Drywall Perfection!

Katherine, one of the owners, wrote me back immediately, we conversed, and she offered a free consultation for an estimate. She arrived with her staff in tow at the appointed time, fully prepared to address every concern I had previously discussed with her on the phone.

From the onset, I knew I was in competent hands. Canterra Construction was diligent throughout the entire process. Even when the shed arrived earlier than expected, I shot Katherine an email, and she was quick to accommodate the schedule change with an immediate start date. Throughout the process, Katherine was available to meet any need, inquiry, or concern and maintained exemplary response time with her calm, pleasant demeanor.

On the installation days, her team was on time, polite, accommodating, professional, communicative, focused, and meticulous in their work efforts. During the three-day job, her crew left the premises tidy each day upon completion. Words can't capture my appreciation for their professional partnership in completing this endeavor.

Summer is coming and we all know it's going to get really hot! Insulation in my attic has been on my mind and I reached out to Insulation Contractors of Arizona to see how it will work for pricing and timeline. They were extremely responsive on Yelp, got an estimate quickly and was able to be booked the same week. Got to love that quick service!

When they showed up the day of, they explained to me on to let me know what they are going to do, how long it will take and to even answer some of my silly questions on the process. They finished the entire job under two hours and even cleaned up any mess they left. My attic now looks like a winter wonderland and hopefully my house will be extra cooler this summer. Highly recommend them for insulation! Great job guys!

I needed a new contractor to do some renovations on our new home so we turned to Yelp and and found shepherd contracting. We used Thomas and his team when my new home needed some updating. The communication was above and beyond. We love our new bathrooms and will post updated photos soon!

His work is outstanding. Finds the problem and fixes it. Would recommend him to anyone needing some home repair. I would not use anyone else. He installed a new engineered wood floor in our home after removing outdated tile flooring. Excellent job and well done. He also replaced rotted facia boards. A great person to fix your homeowner problems.

McCurdy Construction was excellent from start to finish.  I renovated my master bath and walk in closet.  Part of the room was taken down to the studs, so it was a very extensive remodel.  The crew was excellent.  Not only were they friendly and respectful, but genuinely nice people.  Secondly, they were extremely cautious and careful not to do any damage to other areas of the home that had to be traversed on a daily basis.  Third, they did an amazing job of the remodel and had some of the most talented and thorough subcontractors as a part of the project.  Finally, these guys weren't here to just get it done.  They noticed when there were issues adjacent to the project that needed a touch-up or adjustment and would always ask, would you like me to XXXX while I'm here?.  This remodel exceeded my expectations (and my budget) but the budgetary part was my fault!  It should also be noted that Leyda was an awesome partner in figuring out the design.  She is a great consultant, heard what I wanted and helped to guide me to the best decisions based on her experience.  Well done!  I'll see McCurdy when it's time for the kitchen facelift...

I was referred to Danny Pehrson, owner of Solid Home Renovations, by a neighbor who had
used him several times in the past.  Danny came over to look at some plumbing that the former owner had done himself, and done poorly because he was not a plumber.  Danny looked at the work, told me what needed to be done to correct it and what the cost would be.  We set up an appointment - he was here on time, had to crawl around in an attic when it was 106 outside -
finished the job and cleaned up after himself.  

A few weeks later I called to ask him about a leaky toilet and installing an electrical outlet in
the guest bath.  Again, he looked at the problem areas, gave me a quote - we set up a date for
him to do the work.  He was here, had an electrician do the electrical outlet, he did the plumbing
and they both cleaned up after themselves.

I love contractors who 1. show up when they say they will 2. give you a quote that doesn't give you a heart attack 3 and clean up after themselves.  

I would recommend this company to anyone.  Great work, courteous and professional men.
