Had a crack in my driveway after one year in our new house. Gorilla came out right away and fixed the crack. Looks good. Can barely tell where the repair is

I had been searching for a contractor for about a year to get my 1990's master bathroom remodeled.  I had received six different quotes, all of which were way overpriced (in my opinion).  I received a referral and met with Andrew.  After speaking with him, and viewing his previous work, I felt I could trust him to do a good job.  He was helpful in getting me thru the permit process, as well as helping me with changes the Village required due to a change in ordinances.  I am extremely happy with the outcome and am enjoying my new master bathroom.  I'll be calling upon Green Home for additional work I need.

This has nothing to do with their work....I actually never hired them.  This review is based solely on the estimate that I got from them.

I got 3 estimates from 3 different companies for the same services.  The estimate from Husbands2Go covered labor ONLY and not materials.  Apparently, I was responsible for shopping and obtaining materials.  If they obtained materials, there was a charge of $150/hour shopping charge  plus, I was informed they add 20% upcharge above the cost of the materials and the shopping.  Husbands2Go's estimate was about 20% above industry average, but considering their estimate does not include materials, where as the other estimates were 20% lower and DID include materials, the estimate was actually higher than 20% above industry average.

I has also asked for a small fountain to be built, for which I had all the materials.  The basin, which was to be against an existing wall, measured 6' w x 16 h x 16 d; it wasn't big or complicated.  I was given a labor charge of $2,000.  

All of their labor costs, upcharges and shopping charges are prohibitive for me.

I read the reviews.  Many talked about their cost being reasonable but some of those reviews were from a year ago.  Maybe the times have changed their tune.

We wanted to upgrade our kitchen with a larger fridge and are lucky to have found Skyler/Lux Remodeling. Skyler assessed and matched our cabinets and executed a clean design seamlessly blending into the space. In addition, he communicated clearly with us on timelines and delivered awesome results.  

The best part of the Lux team was the vibe and communication felt like a friend in the house helping us, and you can't beat that.

There isn't enough stars for Rob and his crew. His work is absolutely beautiful. If you are thinking about remodeling your home no need to look any further, JVR is the best.

Chris installed a custom window to enclose an office space in a second floor.  He does quality work. He is very detailed oriented, responsive, and a good planner. He sent us a design and was so impressed that he understood what we wanted.  Highly recommend his work.

Michael responded to a request for a quote and was able to arrive within hours of our initial contact. I had tried to install a ceiling fan on my own but had some issues with the wiring. He was able to complete the installation of the ceiling fan and also fixed the wiring issue.  I was impressed with his knowledge and will certainly reach out to him again for other jobs.

We had Ed and company do a somewhat major repair and reconfiguration to an exterior wall at our home in Munds Park. Bottom line: we are very happy with the result! The project took somewhat longer than planned, not entirely within the control of EJK, and there were some minor glitches along the way, but Ed and his team were always willing and able to rectify the situation. It is very hard to find companies that are responsive and reliable in our small community.  Ed was very good at providing input to the design to ensure safety, quality, and appearance. Our experience is that in any major remodel, it takes some oversight by the home owner and constant communication. But, at the end of the day, the agreed-to work was completed to our total satisfaction, exactly to the quoted costs, and any hiccups along the way were properly and promptly addressed.

Mike and his team just completed a full renovation of our Master Bedroom and Bathroom.  Mike delivered on everything that we put in to our plan.  He gave guidance when we needed it and let us run with our ideas as well.  His team was consistent in when they showed up and we had no issues at all with the timing of the project.  We now have our dream Master Bath and a beautifully updated bedroom.  I would highly recommend George Construction for any of your remodeling needs.

Q is literally the best handy man ever. Ever since the first day I hired him, he has tackled all of the crazy random jobs I've thrown at him quickly and professionally. I don't even feel right calling him a handy man as he is way more than that! On top all of that, he's super sweet. I will miss him and all of his amazing work when he leaves California. Damn you Arizona for stealing Q from us!!

Very professional to say the least. family owned business thats professional and personable is hard to find. They came out and gave a free estimate in a timely manner. They were actually ahead of schedule to finish the projects. The workers were friendly and professional. The owner Youssef even reached out to me to make sure everything is to my demands. Absolutely recommend this company! We had some water damage to our kitchen ceiling and needed new drywall, insulation, paint and fixtures put back up. A crew of two were available to come out a couple days after our request was made and they finished in a day and a half! Great communication all the way through and everything was covered and protected. After dealing with a handful of different companies doing work since owning our home, this was one of the best experiences we've had! We will definitely use them in the future for any other projects we have.

Chris and his team were amazing. They tore down the wall that divided the kitchen and living room. We were told by a different contractor that we couldn't take the wall out since the plumbing was in a post tension slab. But Chris had his guys come x-ray the floor and they moved everything over. Definitely recommend AZ Dynamic Builders!

I am fairly new to AZ (bought a house in Buckeye in 2017) and I don't know too many good service companies, so I usually just call around based on Yelp reviews.  I called about 10 different drywall companies, and a half of them weren't willing to come out to Tartesso (rural subdivision in Buckeye) for a fairly small residential job (repair a ceiling crack).  I was happy to discover Drywall Perfection, as they were quick to reply and were willing to come out.  They were also much cheaper than the other two companies will to come out (by hundreds of dollars).  Not only were they willing to come out and cheaper than competitors, but Bill and his worker did a fantastic job fixing the ceiling.  They cleaned up well and did a fantastic job with texturing the repaired ceiling to match the existing ceiling.  We won't bother calling anyone else, the next time we need a drywall company.  Highly recommend.

Katherine, one of the owners, wrote me back immediately, we conversed, and she offered a free consultation for an estimate. She arrived with her staff in tow at the appointed time, fully prepared to address every concern I had previously discussed with her on the phone.

From the onset, I knew I was in competent hands. Canterra Construction was diligent throughout the entire process. Even when the shed arrived earlier than expected, I shot Katherine an email, and she was quick to accommodate the schedule change with an immediate start date. Throughout the process, Katherine was available to meet any need, inquiry, or concern and maintained exemplary response time with her calm, pleasant demeanor.

On the installation days, her team was on time, polite, accommodating, professional, communicative, focused, and meticulous in their work efforts. During the three-day job, her crew left the premises tidy each day upon completion. Words can't capture my appreciation for their professional partnership in completing this endeavor.

Summer is coming and we all know it's going to get really hot! Insulation in my attic has been on my mind and I reached out to Insulation Contractors of Arizona to see how it will work for pricing and timeline. They were extremely responsive on Yelp, got an estimate quickly and was able to be booked the same week. Got to love that quick service!

When they showed up the day of, they explained to me on to let me know what they are going to do, how long it will take and to even answer some of my silly questions on the process. They finished the entire job under two hours and even cleaned up any mess they left. My attic now looks like a winter wonderland and hopefully my house will be extra cooler this summer. Highly recommend them for insulation! Great job guys!

I needed a new contractor to do some renovations on our new home so we turned to Yelp and and found shepherd contracting. We used Thomas and his team when my new home needed some updating. The communication was above and beyond. We love our new bathrooms and will post updated photos soon!

His work is outstanding. Finds the problem and fixes it. Would recommend him to anyone needing some home repair. I would not use anyone else. He installed a new engineered wood floor in our home after removing outdated tile flooring. Excellent job and well done. He also replaced rotted facia boards. A great person to fix your homeowner problems.

We had an overall positive experience with McCurdy Construction on the remodel of our master bathroom.  In our opinion, the quality of the workmanship and materials was top notch.  The design phase with Kaitlyn was clear, pleasant, and insightful.  The team that worked on our project - Anthony, Zach, Eric, and all of the others - were polite, professional, experienced and knowledgeable.  We felt like they were up-front with us when issues came up and give us a clear picture of our options.  They were respectful of our home, taking the time to protect the areas that they were working in.  We have been very pleased with the final outcome.

Our only critiques are that communication was challenging at the beginning of the project, as we were promised an initial bid within two weeks' time.  That didn't happen, and it was difficult to establish regular, reliable communication.  It was also estimated when the construction phase on our project began in early January that it would be completed by the end of February, perhaps spilling into March a bit.  There were long stretches when no work or minimal work occurred, and the project was completed in May. This was longer than we were anticipating and created some challenges for our family.  

Overall, we were happy with the outcome and would use them again when the need or situation arises.

Danny of Solid Home Renovations quite simply does WHAT he promises to do, WHEN he promises to do it, and is ready to correct anything that isn't exactly right (which doesn't happen often).

He responds to phone calls and texts quickly. His prices are fair and competitive.

We just had him complete our second (much smaller) project and we can't say enough great about him and his crew and the results he delivers.
