We chose Dave and North Valley Locksmith because of his high Yelp ratings. He was very responsive and able to squeeze us in the next day and he was on time.
He tried to save us money by suggesting not to rekey two patio doors on the second floor however we insisted.
He has a very well stocked and clear truck and worked efficiently. The keys work very well.
We would use Dave again and highly recommend his service.

Wow is an understatement!  I was trying to get a Nest installed in a metal door and needed the hole enlarged to place it in, plus a garage door was needing a quick repair to close properly.  I called NVL and they had a workman finishing a job down the street so he was contacted and he was installing the nest within 15 mins of my call!!  Crazy!  
Wade was very friendly, professional and did a great job, and checked his work before he told me it was finished.  His bill was very competitive with other quotes I had received too.  Would I recommend NVL, yes, 100%!  We will be calling them in future for all our locksmithing needs and you should too.

I found NVL after needing to replace a deadbolt on one door and having another lock evaluated. I stopped into the shop one afternoon on my way home and spoke with Wade.  We scheduled an appt for a couple days later.
  Wade showed up and the agreed time and made quick work of the locks.  Appreciated his promptness and quick and good work,  will surely use their shop again.

The times in which we live - especially in the world of real estate. As a very excited first-time home buyer on my closing day I was handed 15-20 keys for 8-10 different locks around the property. Even having a log of which key number goes to which lock my brain turned into scrambled eggs. I knew I was going to need to get the house rekeyed with the hopes of being able to have one key work for all of the locks around the house.

Called to get quotes from a few places and the person who answered for North Valley Locksmith was very friendly. He even took my call while on a construction site (never too busy for potential new clients). Originally wanted to try and schedule something over the weekend I received a follow-up call from Wade who said he could actually make the appointment same day later in the evening. He showed up on time and ready to work. Talked about my dad being a vet and how crazy real estate is right now, but he even brought towels to not mess up my new tile floors. Took him about an hour but got everything squared away.

About 15 minutes after Wade left I was locking up the place and could not get the front screen door to fully lock. I thought maybe something was wrong with a spring. Called Wade and he came back over within 20-25 minutes. Turns out I was the dummy - he locked the security door on the first attempt. Now I know I need to push the door in before locking it. Gave him a $20 for his gas to come back when I was in the wrong but was still very respectful the entire time.

Clean, professional, competitive pricing, quick turnaround time, and got the job done. Couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Fantastic!    We had a closet door that would not open and needed to change two locks on our front door and garage door.    Dave came out as planned, arrived and was very clean, neat and explained everything along the way.      Would definitely use them again.

Locked out of my house and in desperation called North Valley. They answered immediately and within 20 min Wade was at my door. My lock was hard to get open but Wade devised a work-around. I highly recommend them and would use again. Hopefully I won't have to!

The owner had the nerve to call me a liar. Why? All I wanted was to get into the house. If he told me two hours, it would have been a done deal. His tale is ridiculous.

Needed a house re-key and called North Valley Locksmith, found them on yelp as a Veteran and Family business. They answered their phone Saturday am and offered service within 45 minutes. Wade showed up as scheduled he was knowledgeable, friendly and efficient, he even adjusted a couple locks that were hard to turn.

I needed a key for a 2006 Mazda Miata and this place was able to make a copy of the key fob key and produce a physical key eventhough it was chipped and I didn't have the Miata with me at the time.  Highly recommend this place and they are vetrans!

I recently bought a new house and needed all the locks rekeyed in it.  I was offered same day service if needed.  They were able to schedule on a day later in the week at a time that fit in with my work schedule.  The pricing was given to me over the phone when I made the appointment.  

The day of the appointment, he arrived on time and was very friendly.  I was provided good information throughout the appointment.  I would use them again and recommend them.

My mom locked her keys in the car he came to her and got it done no problem. For a good price too. :)
